Authentic Jamaican food & Caribbean themed rum bar. Parking at the front. The lady server was really welcoming and friendly. We had jerk chicken with side curry potatoes & bean and rice for lunch this afternoon. We could taste the spices in our the dishes and we felt like we are back to our vacation in Caribbean Island. Love their Real Jerk Hot sauce and their music !!
If there was a 10 star option I'd choose that!! This was the best place I've ever eaten at in toronto. The person who served us made us both feel very welcomed. The food was incredible, the prices were great for the portion you get !! It was huge and delicious. Authentic and great environment.
Walked in and ordered jerk chicken. By the look, the name,the price, and the atmosphere I was expecting pretty good food. Out of the jerk chicken rice and coleslaw, my favourite was the rice. Good flavour had no complaints. The coleslaw was average. The main focus on the plate though, the chicken, was sub par. Little sauce on the skin only. Chicken itself was dry and not much flavour. I was expecting more spice but that's just preference. It is good food but there is room for improvement
It is alright. Jerk chicken and pork were tasty but rice side was so-so and fried plantains were nearly inedible. Took about 30 min to get a simple takeout order.
The first thing I noticed was the parking… they have one Accessibility Parking Spot. The spot is so difficult to get into and not at all close to the entrance.The food was not so great… Hubby and I drove almost an hour to get a 5 star meal, which we were accustomed to getting from the Real Jerk.The jerk chicken was so dry. The oxtail was mostly bones. The shrimp run down was very disappointing in every way possible. The banana fritters were my favourite 5/5!We will definitely go back though.Isaiah was our waiter and he was definitely 10/10 as were the entire staff.The food is usually a 10/10 so we will definitely be back. But just one more chance cause it is very expensive and I don’t mind paying for 10/10 food. ????
Ordered takeout straight from the restaurant. The waitress didn’t exactly have the best customer service, she was cold and unfriendly. It would’ve been great if she told us how long we had to wait for our order to be ready but no, we sat on the side for 40 minutes until she said “Your order’s ready”. It was an extremely busy Monday night, there were a gazillion takeouts they had to deal with and a few dine-ins.Food was alright, not the best jerk chicken wings I’ve ever tasted. I’ve had better ones quite frankly. The chicken was dry and may need a little more spice to give it more of a kick. The rice and beans were also very dry. Not sure if I’ll be back again.
What a great place. I can’t believe I never experienced this before. The food is delicious. I had the jerk chicken and oxtail combo and everything was amazing. Can’t wait to try this place again soon.
Great customers service! Beautiful atmosphere, we took our family friend Max A Million here for dinner. Great drink menu. Love the music! Highly recommended this place! Enjoy
This place was horrendous. Save your time and money because I have been to 6 different jerk spots and this is by far the worst one I have ever tried.1/4 jerk chicken dinner was fry and bland. Had no jerk taste whatsoever and it was just dry roasted chicken.I asked for EXTRA sauce and they put 1 teaspoon full of sauce in a huge container of stale rice and dry chicken.Rice was completely stale. Both rice and plantain tasted cold and tasted like it’s been sitting for a while.DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. ITS A RIPOFF
This place is great and it's not at the same time. I love the curry chicken and I get it all the time. But there's times when I order other things and they just don't seem to have the same passion behind it. If I order dumplings with oxtail gravy the gravy is 90% oil...the first time I got it it was incredible, I told people about it and when I order it for them to try it's never the same. When I go back to ask about it they give me the cold shoulder. Really unfortunate but il be sticking with the roti from now on. Great roti atleast!!
