Came over on a Saturday for dinner, the financial district is not busy thus we were seated promptly at their beautiful patio. The list of cocktails looks amazing and the food menu contains many iconic British pub fare. The fish and chips were crunchy and flavourful, my 6-year old almost finished the entire dish all by himself. Scotch egg and the piccalilli were delicious and my personal favourite. The steak and mushroom pie, however, was slightly disappointing as it had a strong vinegar taste. It was more acidic than the pies we had elsewhere so upon the first bite it was quite a surprise. Overall we had a pleasant experience and wouldn’t mind coming back to try other dishes and cocktails.

The steak was good, desert and cocktail was okay. The price of food is high, the service was not very good, we waited for our sparkling water for fifteen minutes even more, and no one have noticed us the sparkling water would charge us for 6 dollars( same item $1.5/ bottle in the market), we though it was free until we checked the bill because the waitress never mentioned the sparkling water was not free….We were setting in the patio, some customers around us were very rude, they laughed and shouted, and took selfie at a very close distance around our table. Didn’t have a good experience at this place.

We made a desert on the patio but this was not on the system. After showing our reservation, it felt like an inconvenience to seat us. Service was slow and it was hard to get the server’s attention. We would have had another round of drinks but never saw anyone to ask so we eventually got the bill. Even then, I was given the device to pay and our server never returned. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Ok, this is not real British food. Not even posh food. It’s mostly a tourist trap with dusty outdoor tables, very small portions and unreasonable pricing. The fish n chips was one tiny piece of fish that was nothing to write home about. Do yourself a favour and go to a proper pub, pay half the price and get basic yummy food in plenty.

Service and food were excellent. Lots of tasty cocktails

Some of the worst food and service I’ve had in all of Toronto. There are so many great places just don’t bother unless you are only going for a beer.

Our server had zero personality, we waited half an hour for a glass of water, the bill was split incorrectly, she rolled her eyes when we made an amendment, never once asked if we needed another drink, didn’t fill water without asking and then it took forever.

Please, please hire more staff. We sat with no drinks for about 20 minutes. After we finished eating we sat in front of dirty plates for about half an hour. I had to call over a server - twice - for more drinks. Although the food was stellar, as you expect from an O&B restaurant the lack of service took the fun out of our evening.

Really pretty patio seating, so go here on a nice day to enjoy that.We went for evening drinks and they had some quirky cocktails and appetizers. We ordered cauliflower skewers and they came with a twist of Indian curry. The scotch eggs looked pretty, the only thing I didn't like were their fries. But I'll have to visit again for a proper meal.

The “Proper Roast Chicken” is amazing!
