Went with a few friends on a Saturday night. When we first arrived at around 7pm, it was quite busy and then started to slow down at around 9pm ish.We had cod and chips, and the beef short rib pie. Both of them are amazing!! The fries the dip the salad, everything was really good! Our friends had chicken sandwich and the cheeseburger, both said would go back to this restaurant again.Didn’t haven’t a chance to try their dessert, definitely would try to save some space for dessert next time we are there. Also saw on their website they have pies to go, want to try all of them now after having the beef short rib pie. Really good!Service was amazing too, unfortunately didn’t get our server’s name. She was working Saturday night for indoor table near the bar.Highly recommend this restaurant. Also would love to try their brunch, sounds really good

This restaurant was recommended on T.O Blog as of the best ten fish& chips restaurants in Toronto. That's why I checked it out. But honestly I don't recommend it, the fish was soggy, the French fries were good. The server was very friendly and took our order promptly. However, after we ate we sat for a good 20 mins waiting to be asked if we wanted dessert or the bill. The restaurant got super busy as we sat there, so I don't think my review will matter.

Great food, great beer and great service! What more could you ask for?

This is what I wrote: denouement below.'Arrived on my own for lunch and a pint. I've been here before and it has been fine, but this time was different. Having asked for another table, as the one I was given was next to a really noisy bunch (very happy to see them enjoying themselves, but I thought it would be understood that I'd like a quiet corner) the atmosphere from the staff changed. I was ignored (although passed many times) for fifteen minutes without a drink, so I left and proceeded to Sin and Redemption, where the welcome was warm and friendly and the lunch excellent; a refreshing contrast to Q&B's lacklustre approach.Waiting more than fifteen minutes for a pint is not a British pub experience. That's fundamental. Anything else is up for debate, even rude service, but a prompt pint is the lifeblood of the British pub.'After a very gracious response from the Q&B (below) I returned, and now I'm not so cross! It is, as I've experienced before, a good pub with two distinct vibes: dining downstairs and pub upstairs. The beer's well kept and the staff are indeed friendly. Maybe a ball was dropped, but we all do that, and it was put right straight away with genuine concern for this punter.

I absolutely love Q&B!!!!It is my “local” and the warm, cosy atmosphere makes me feel like I’m at home in the UK!Fabulous staff who are attentive, friendly and considerate! We had a Christmas party here too last year and I spend summers sitting on the patio with a Gin&Tonic! Thank you for always making me and my friends feel so welcome ??❤️?

awesome…cool place expensive beers

Food was good albeit overpriced, service not so good and still they took 20% gratuity.Reservation was made for a feast, at arrival a seat was missing, the feast was to share and barely fed all of us even when each of us was charged full price. So, the value is not that good in my experience.UPDATE: In response to the reply: I am the one who paid the whole bill. My guests were being polite and respectful as they appreciated the invitation and the time together. But the portion provided was for five people, not nine (one lamb shoulder, one plate of carrots, one of greens and 2 of potatoes - see picture). This has been confirmed by Jeremy, who just called me over the phone. He mentioned I should have received two shoulders, and that was not the case. We had to go to eat something else after the limited portions. Jeremy did apologize.

Been a customer for years...all the great staff are long gone and been replaced with people who simply don't know what they are doing...my party had to wait 20 minutes to get our bill...we literally had a debate as to whether we should just get up and leave, it was beyond absurd...everything feels like shrinkflation as pours and portions have definitely shrunk...quality of ingredients seem to have declined...it's a real shame to strike this place from the list of place we go...

INCREDIBLE burger, I've never tasted anything like that! Holy f---!!! Hand chopped meat, cooked medium rare, topped with aged cheddar, bacon, horseradish, curry mustard and a side of fries with malt vinegar mayo -made for some very unique and delicious flavours. Also the place itself is cozy and the staff was super friendly! Will definitely be back!

Great classic English pub! The hosts and servers are so lovely and kind. The brunch is delish and portions are generous. Got the classic breakfast, avocado toast with halloumi and pancakes with maple butter - would recommend them all!! The pancakes were especially such a treat. I appreciate their vegetarian and meat options. I love the decor with lots of portraits. If you can get a table in the front room, that’s the best!
