During the playoffs we were looking for a sports bar and went to the Pint. They had a hostess at front and the place was fully staffed. Decent atmosphere....Lots of TV's and pizza specials, so we ordered a couple pizza's. Good food and 20 oz Pints.
I love this bar so much!We went there before the blue jays game, and it was so fully packed. Although it was crazy busy, all the servers were still so patient and friendly. The special for Wednesday is half price of the wings + beer, and we didn’t wait too long for the food. The vibe of the restaurant was super nice and cozy, and the food was super tasty! We will definitely be back soon!
Excellent location. I’d rate zero(0) stars, as the GM Jamie is an absolute rude, unprofessional human being. I’ve never once seen a manager leave a Mac lap top on the bar for an hour and then asking customers to move down the bar at 11pm in the middle of their night and ruin the entire night. Immediately asked for the bill and left. Lost revenue and not going to be speaking well. This location was great when Chad Hubbs ran the joint, but horrible management trickles down to every staff member. Not going to be back because of the unprofessional rude Brit.
Awesome pub and restaurant and great service by the people there and manager. Food was great, we ordered mushroom pizza, pepperoni pizza and chips and salsa and guacamole & not to forget had lots of drink!
Not what I expected from a bar in such a great location. Service and atmosphere was phenomenal however, the food was very poor. Gravy was bland and chicken wasn’t well battered or poorly fried for the sandwiches. Washrooms may need to be checked on once in a while too..
Honestly I’m trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt with my 3 star review because I came here on two different occasions and had completely different experiences. The first was a Saturday night for dinner and it was pretty empty, so my experience was good. Decent service and food. Good vibe, no complaints. This place is also rather large so it’s spacious and has a space for a small dance floor.I also came here again for st pattys day. Now I know it’s one of the busiest days of the year, but you’d figure management would have planned ahead for that. Either they did not have enough staff on hand or the staff were just awol most of the night. Service was extremely slow, we could barely order food or drinks. Our waitress took an order of drinks and then asked to cash us out since her shift was ending before bringing our drinks. I had little faith we’d get our drinks but somehow we got it after asking our next server. We then later saw our first waitress like 45 min later, so either she lied to us or she just really enjoys working for free. The table behind us was also equally frustrated, if not more. They did not get any drinks and eventually gave up and wanted to pay and leave. Even then they had a difficult time trying to leave and they made it clear to the supervisor on shift that night that they could’ve just left and no one would have noticed until a while later. Other than the poor service, this place has a good vibe.Given my first experience I’m giving this place the benefit of the doubt, and if I do come again, I will update my review. But it definitely won’t be my go-to place.
REVISED,, I was asked to contact the owner l tried..I was given a email address that was no longer valid, l was then emailed a new email address, that email address did not work either. Please see response to my review by the owner.I called The Pint House to confirm l had the right email, l was informed it was.Very disappointed and frustrated at the time and effort l.put in to contacting the owner. ...................When you have a great location you do not need to try that hard to give good customer service.Questions were asked but answers were difficult to get. There is no flexibility with menu items , l asked if l could get red sauce on my pizza instead of white sauce, l was told l could not make any changes, all l could do was take items off the pizza. With a name like The Pint House you would think they would have a very large selection of beers. Not the case..My fireball whiskey was given in a plastic shot glass that looked like it has seen better days.I would recommend going to the Town Crier, we had a fabulous experience there.
My partner and I ordered two different wings flavours (Parmesean and Herb as well as Lemon Pepper) and we both agreed the wings were not good. The parmesean and herb were bland and the lemon pepper had waaaaaaaaay too much seasoning. See the photo for the absurd amount of seasoning. Service was good, but not the food. I wouldn't go back.
Spent 5 days in Toronto - visited many pubs over the course of the visit but this ease definitely the best. First of all as an Irish guy I appreciated the fact that the promo sign said “Paddy’s Day” as other pubs in the city spelt it “Patty’s Day”. Andrew the barman list was very friendly and added to the experience by pouring the perfect Guineas. Would highly recommend!
I attempted to go into Pint this past Saturday March 6th around 11:30pm and was denied entry due to capacity issues. I asked a few questions about post covid regulations and about 20 guests left. I then asked if I could go in now and was told no. At this point one of the security staff's boyfriend began making threatening comments and gestures towards me and said three times that he was dating the doorman. I acknowledged him, thanked the doorman for his time (he was very nice) and left. I felt really uncomfortable about how the boyfriend of an employee was talking to potential customer and was baffled at how the place was at capacity after 20 guests left. This should not happen and this establishment failed to meet my expectations for customer service and respect.
