Thank you to the manager for accommodating our seating request.
Excellent service, food and drinks. Pretty noisy but great atmosphere!
I was super excited to meet a new acquaintance at Hunterâs Landing for brunch. I made the reservation and arrived a few minutes early. I told the host my name and they sat me at my table with no issues. My friend showed up a few minutes later, gave my name, and the host was very uncooperative and difficult. She explained that I was already there and called me to confirm. The host did not allow her to go in and find me and made minimal effort to help look for my name or where I was sitting. I was on the patio trying to wave her over and watched this unfold. The entire situation was very bizarre and I was surprised as I couldnât understand why she was given such a difficult time by the host, especially as the restaurant wasnât super busy. Perhaps, and I donât want to seem too extreme, it was because I am white and my friend is a person of colour? Unfortunately, we were seated next to a large group of tipsy men, who began calling out to my friend and making comments. We tried to ignore them, but one of them even came over to our table. We mentioned something to our server and explained we were becoming uncomfortable, but she said she couldnât do anything. I was disappointed because our plan had been to stay for a while and enjoy their cheap mimosa refills, but due to the environment, we ate our meal and left pretty quickly.
My wife and I and my brother and his partner had dinner here priOr to the Blue Jays game. We were able to make reservations in advance which avoided the sometimes long wait times to get in a restaurant/Bar prior to a game. The Rogers Centre is less then an eight minute walk. Service was excellent. They took our drinks order and immediately and checked in several times prior to our dinners being brought out to see if we needed anything while waiting. Food was brought out in a timely fashion. Usual pub grub stuff. Tasted good, not necessarily healthy, but this is a bar. The highlight was the service. These guys are good. Great choice if youâre heading to the a sports experience at Rogers.
Great service great food as always
Great service, great food. A definite place to check out if Iâm the downtown area.
The food at this location is generally consistent but the service leaves something to be desired. Perhaps they are short staffed which is not uncommon on these times but the waitress pretty much didn't check in on us to fill water, refill drinks or clear the table. The food server spilled sauce on the table which spilled through onto our shoes. Dessert took forever, not served with utensils and wasn't great. I'd choose another location personally.
It was the worst experience with bad food and bad service
My friends and I went for brunch on the holiday and CJ gave us fantastic service. The food and drinks were great. New favourite spot for weekend brunch and mimosas! CJ and Ty were both beyond helpful and friendly and ensured we always had what we needed :)
Took my 2 boys before a Jays game. Chose it because of it's proximity to Rogers Centre. Food was "ok". My boys had Chicken Wings. They're picky eaters, so just wanted them plain with Salt & Pepper on them. Kitchen wouldn't do that for them, so the server brought us out salt and pepper shakers. I ordered the Landing Burger. It was "ok". Portion was very small compared to other restaurant chains. I'm not sure how many oz. the patty was, but it was considerably smaller than I was expecting. We ordered a side of fries for my boys to have along with their wings. Again, portion size was very small. I ordered a bottle of beer which was served at more or less room temperature. The atmosphere was nice and our server was pleasant, but overall we were a little disappointed with our experience. Small portions and warm beer and we left still feeling hungry.
