The food is fantastic. I absolutely love treating myself once a week to a super tasty and filling vegetarian lunch special. I crave the festival and plantain as well never disappointed.Great staff as well.
Ordered for delivery through skip. Got myself the jerk chicken with rice & beans and coleslaw along with a spicy beef patty. Everything was delicious, chicken was tender and flavourful. Patty could've been spicier, unless I got the mild by mistake. For the price, portion was pretty good. I wish they had a smaller portion for a cheaper price. Will order again.
Been ordering here via Uber Eats for the past month to the point that it has now been my go-to place to order from. Could never go wrong with the food here. It's great! Special thanks to Naya for preparing my order today!
Went there to pick up a delivery order.Firstly they don’t have a parking and they are subscribed to the delivery apps(couriers have to park at their own risk). When the courier is inside to pick up, they take their sweet time serving the customer inside even though the deliver order is ready on shelf, rather than quickly giving it to the couriers.Either attend the couriers quickly or arrange for parking if you are subscribed to the gig economy delivery apps. Common sense...!!!Your are neither paying for the waiting time or for the tickets couriers receive while they are parked outside. On top of that the staff attitude there is — 10. Open a government office with that staff attitude not a customer based business.Garbage guys!!!
Excellent customer service and genuinely authentic Caribbean cuisine. The spices and the flavors stand out! If I were to choose a favorite from the menu, it would most likely be their curry goat!
Literally 3 little cubes of potatoes in the roti and more costs extra. No jerk sauce for the chicken. Using the Caribbean name for marketing but don’t know about the food and vibes.
I heard this place had decent West Indian food. There are not many places along the subway line that sell West Indian food, so I was excited. The first time I went, I had a decent roti and festival. The service was friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable. Good selection of West Indian soda and juice. The next time was a different experience. I got off the subway to make a special trip there. The same friendly cashier was there, but the chef came out and was looking at what was left over with the cashier. His mask was down which was his first problem. I thought he realized that and was going to put it back. Instead, he proceeded to stick his finger up his nose. It was gross. I walked away and did not order anything. I will not tolerate unsanitary habits. Had it not been for that visit, it would have been a 3.5 stars which I would have rounded up to four stars. Since I cannot give a 0 for the nose pick, the average of my two visits is two.
Best Caribbean food in the Toronto hands down. Don't even bother going anywhere else. The food is always fresh, authentic, and tastes amazing
Love this place. Usually get a veg roti or small veg main. Very filling, flavor for days. 5th time going and constantly great food.
Festival dumplings are amazing. Alongside the ackee & saltfish, calaloo and plantain..excited to try other menu items ^_^
