I dont understand how this place gets this much good reviews. I asked for 2 scrambled eggs with cheese ; i got an egg with no cheese, and 3 slices of tomatoes, slice of bread and tiny portion of fries for $16 dollars. A total ripoff, if i ask cheese with two eggs and u charge me for that you give me what I get charged,if it wasnt raining and i needed a place to stay indoors i wouldnt go to this place again

Soft spot for this place, its been here for decades now(?), feels like that at least. Any place that lasts that long you know has to be good

We wanted to check this place out for brunch because we saw that it had 4.3 stars on Google. I should've read the reviews more closely because our experience was absolutely terrible.Our party ordered the French toast sammy, the eggs Benedict, and the hangover poutine. The last two meals were pretty decent, nothing to write home about. Although they initially served us another table's meal instead which caused a bit of confusion.The French toast was incredibly disappointing. It was very bland. There was no sign of egg, milk, or cinnamon at all. The maple syrup was very watered down and was not sweet at all. BUYER BEWARE: if you want French toast get it from literally any other place than here. We would've rather gotten a breakfast sandwich from McDonald's instead.Lastly, the waitress serving us took so long to bring us our bill. We waited a good 10 minutes for our bill before we decided to just walk in. She didn't even offer to bring the machine outside or tell us we had to go inside to pay when we initially asked.Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I haven't had the opportunity to taste their lunch and dinner menu, but as a Brunch spot, that is definitely not worth a 4.3 stars. My friends and I waited for more than one hour to be served (from the time we ordered). I don't mind waiting but the place was not crowded at all, there were only 4 or 5 tables of people outside, and they do not serve inside. With the long wait, we were expecting good food quality but it was industrial food. I usually don't write such bad reviews, but I thought this could help.
The service here is horrible.I keep giving it another chance and it gets worse every time.
