Have been dining here since I was a teenager, and 10 years later I still find myself craving for an Irish breakfast at George St. Diner on a Saturday morning. I strictly order the Irish breakfast, and my girls strictly swear by their omelettes. The staff are extremely friendly. Don't worry about the lineups, they never last as long as they seem, thanks to the speed of the kitchen staff!

Amazing food, great service, and wonderful atmosphere.Had breakfast on the (perfectly shaded, yet warm and sunny) patio here for my birthday, and couldn’t have been happier. The food was easily a ten. I was treated to a cup of tea that would be best described as “bottomless.” And the entire staff were as warm and friendly as if I’d been a regular customer forever.Being able to leave with British sweets from my childhood, was just the icing on the cake.Cannot recommend enough!

We walked by this place on Friday morning on the way to the Patrician Grill & decided right then that we would return the next morning for breakfast. It was a great decision. There was a little bit of a wait to sit inside so my wife was famished so she accepted an outside table, although I wanted to sit inside for the vibe, & away we went. I had the western omelette & she had the breakfast sandwich. Both were really good but if I returned I'd go with the sandwich because it just looked fantastic. Great service, as they had a server dedicated to the outside tables, but I made sure to walk thru the inside to catch the vibe & loved the look & feel of the place. Typical old style diner from the 60's. I love places like this so I would definitely return but would make sure to get an inside table to enhance the experience.

We didn't think the food was tasty, nothing particularly special either. There are definitely better brunch locations in Toronto. Service was great though. Limited seating, they won't seat you until entire group arrives.

One of the best breakfasts I've had in the city ?[Food] I ordered the Ultimate Irish Breakfast and I enjoyed every bite of it. The standout was the soda bread, it was scrumptious.[Service] The waitress was lovely and sweet. I couldn't have asked for better service[Atmosphere] It felt like I was transported from the busy downtown to a small town diner. Everything inside this restaurant gives you a cozy feel.

What a vibe! Unpretentious and casual spot for brunch. Got the Ultimate Irish Breakfast and it was quite hearty. The little figurines by the window really add a nice touch to the place. It's a busy place so expect a small wait. Highly recommend though.

Amazing place for brunch but only has like 7 booths? Worth the wait though!!!!Pleasant staff and fast service.I got the oh so delicious George Street Croque Monsieur (challah bread, melted cheese and roasted meat!), upgraded to have fries since they cut those in-house, and husband got the Irish breakfast.Looking forward to our next visit! *Drools*

Most authentic Irish dining experience in Toronto - tasted just like we were back in Ireland! We had to give the classic breakfast roll and chicken fillet roll a go and we were not disappointed. Lots of Irish goodies like penguin bars (refrigerated of course), tayto chips, and lucozade. Very friendly staff and had a lovely chat with the Irish owner. We will be back :)

The food was quite delicious. The place is small and a bit tight for groups of 4+ but worth the stop. The irish breakfast are different than other places from the sweet beans and tasty bread, with well grilled meats. Another great and unique tasting meal was the french toast croque monsieur, making the sandwich a bit sweeter, softer bread and with the mustard it was delicious.Would come back.

This is a very nice coffe on downtown but they have everything on it so don’t hesitate in order
