Good music and I like the ambience. The night usually starts out good but then there’s always a fight with either the staff yelling at someone or bouncers making a scene, and it’s always an over reaction to the situation. I’ve been here a few times and that’s always been experience. I agree with other reviews that the experience would be better if the staff improved on customer service, however I can’t see that happening anytime soon so I don’t bother with this place anymore it just gives me anxiety.
I was turned away by a very rude bouncer for wearing shorts while it was 22 degrees outside. I was just trying to have fun on my vacation but the bouncer sent me home :((Wish they somehow advertised this policy somewhere so I could be prepared
All time favourite club in Toronto. This has been my friends, and I go to spot for 5 years. The vibes are unmatched from any other Toronto club i've been too... and i've been to a bunch haha. I just love how you can have fun here without being judged and people actually are dancing and enjoying themselves unlike king west. they also always have something fun going on wether its snacks at the end of the night or performances during the night. The manager Brogan is also super accommodating and kind
I had an awful experience there this past Saturday. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to get the bouncer's name (short middle-aged Asian dude), this guy was super disrespectful, kicking me out of the club for no reason at all. Long story short, I had asked one of the bouncers (a nice one) to show me how to get to the outdoor smoking area because I was looking for two of my friends that apparently were there, at that point I didn't know if the smoking area was on the ground or upper floor, anyways... while I was following him to the outdoor area, this other bouncer came from behind grabbed my arms as if I was getting escorted out of the club, I asked him to stop touching me, but he was overly rude, did not listen or wanted to reason at all and SIMPLY KICKED ME OUT OF THE CLUB BY ASSUMING I was getting kicked out only because another bouncer and I were (I GUESS) walking in the same direction!I wasn't drunk, wasn't causing any problems (I'm not even that type of person to begin with) I was simply asking someone to show me where one certain location was. Needless to say, I do not recommend this place, some bouncers think they can do whatever they can, I was yelled at to "leave him alone" because I was "talking too much"... damn right I was talking too much, I honestly could not believe what was happening, I had to make my point, it was an absolute unfair situation to be in.
omg I was so cheesed last night. The security lady threatened to kick us out of the club for vaping inside. And she was not being polite at all she could’ve said it in a more friendly tone but instead she was rude…I knew that vaping was not allowed inside but didn’t she see that everybody else was vaping like crazy?? If you don’t want nobody vaping inside you might as well keep an eye on everyone instead of just that one person. I’m so disappointed at this place might never come again…
Everything else was fine except the coat check. I wish I can leave a zero over here. I checked my thousand dollar vintage jacket here and when I picked it up, the lady just stepped on it in front of me. I didn’t get a chance to check on it when I was in the club. After I got out of the club and checked on it, I found a 3-4cm tear around my shoulder area from when she stepped on it and tried to pull it up. It was quite careless and for a $5 cost check at least some care should be taken.
I went in Feb 2020 for friend's birthday dinner and it was a cool heritage building. I found the small portions of food a bit overpriced but we all found the food delicious with really good service. I enjoyed dining here with its simple, elegant and casual vibes.
They assured us we had a certain booth but then they switched us out at the last minute without any notice. I used to love this place and have spent thousands of dollars there, but apparently they only care about the highest bidder. I'd avoid this place of you're looking to be treated like a human being.
Was planning to host a corporate event for the company I work for with them and paid the deposit upfront. Owners ended up stealing the $20,000 deposit and went MIA before event. Be very cautious before hosting your event there…highly recommend looking for another place.
OKAY, did you know the fifth has actual superman working at the club? I was at the fifth three weeks ago with my friends and there is a bottle service GUY that takes his shirt off and serves with the most dreamy body and eyes ever!! As far as atmosphere and music, this is one of the best dance clubs I’ve been to in Toronto and I’m definitely coming back. The prices were pretty typical for bottle service, not cheap but worth it for the memories. Our server Dana was very kind and attentive, all the servers here are very kind altogether.
