OMG! This is the best spot for breakfast in Toronto!!!! So delicious and amazing prices. Customer service is also a big plus. Friendly people and incredible food :)I would definitely recommend it.
The Federal is a local go to spot for us. The Gold standard with bacon or Kale is delicious! We already get the rosti and side salad to go with it as it really completes the meal.Great coffee and cappuccinos every time.I also love the lunch options. The chicken curry sandwich and the Kale Caesar are exceptionally tasty. The Federal gets two thumbs up from this guy.
Got a Cubano for takeout and the sandwich was burnt on both sides. Flavour was okay, the char definitely caused this sandwich from being great.
I went here for breakfast over a month ago and still think about my meal -- it was that good. the gold standard sandwich is a twist on a classic breakfast sandwich, with a bit of a spicy kick to it. the fresh baked scone with fruit jam + whipped (lemon?) cream was also incredible. the interior is cozy and the service was great as well.this place is always busy on weekends, so go early or plan to visit on a weekday!

awesome breakfast burrito and grilled cuban today. Small menu, but every item a winner. Even though they were busy, the waitstaff never hurried us while we had our little family reunion and got caught up. Thanks for the coffee refills and special order.
First time here, came during covid 19 but stage 3 so dine in was an option. Pretty small place and it fills up fast on the weekends, when full they take your name and number and call you when your table is ready but the turnover is not too long I'd say about a 20 min wait. Food is decent, looks nice as with all brunch places but tastes pretty standard. Nothing really jumped out as WOW this is great! But it is a nice brunch place for sure. Overall I wpuld probably ly return if I was in the neighborhood amd wanted some brunch and I do recommend to those who like brunch to visit.

Menu has some special & different options for brunch and for those who are vegan, veggie or gluten free, there's tons to chose from. Highly recommend the scrambled eggs with sausage or the breakfast sandwich!
