May 2022: I was going to take a picture of the full Chris Club but was barely able to take this pic of half a sandwich. Fully loaded on onion bun it is super fresh & tasty.All followed by the Dufflet dark chocolate sponge treat of course.***Super nice people who work in a tiny closet of a store on Parliament Street just south east of Carlton Street.Beautiful foods, coffee, breads and pastries, cheeses and deli meats.They also make a mean sandwich and can cater.It's an all in one!
Excellent deli counter with a range of tasty sandwiches (including lots of veggie options). Nice selection of Portuguese staples (natas, cod pastels, bolsas) and other snacks and baked goods. Reasonably priced and conveniently located near Riverdale Park for a picnic. Recommended.
My new fav coffee place , I travel all the way from north York just for their coffee and excellent service .. m so glad I found this place .. homey atmosphere, you even get fresh big cookies and other assortments .. the lady at the counter is always smiling .. ?
Great shop with awesome coffee and delicious sandwiches. Amazing selection of gourmet items and food as well as cabbagetown swag.
Epicure is amazing and is a Cabbagetown icon for a reason. Their breakfast sandwiches are really delicious and reasonably priced which you consider the quality compared to other places that might be a bit cheaper.There's also a lot of nice things you can pick up that can be hard to find elsewhere, and generally 100 different things you could give a food lover as a gift.

Sandwiches and deli = top notch, 5 stars.Baked goods = 0/5. I live nearby and frequent this place regularly. Unfortunately, the last 3 times I’ve been, the brownies and cookies are so stale that I can’t even cut them.I can appreciate COVID has posed challenges but it would almost be better to no longer offer baked goods if they’re stale? Or maybe offer 2 prices— like one less expensive price point for more stale items and a higher price for fresh goods, therefore still making money but expectations are clear. I think I’m just disappointed because I didn’t expect it to be so stale …I’ll be taking a break from going here for my lunch for a bit. Hope things improve. :)
Very nice things here. High end delights you won't find at a regular grocery. More like what you would find at St. Lawrence Market. Meats, cheeses, crackers, pasta and so on.
A gem for the Cabbagetown community. Sandwiches are always made fresh and delicious. A good variety of cheeses and cold cuts. I love going there.
I've been here a few times, always for their baked goods. Everything is very tasty and fresh, though on the very sweet side. Today, I discovered bolas (round donut with a custard filling) and I think I've found my go-to treat. It's light, fluffy, soft and not overly sweet, which is my kind of treat! Yes, it's coated in sugar, but the donut and cream itself are not as sweet. The texture is what blew my mind. I bit it as is and it was perfect. I popped the rest in the microwave for 15 sec and had it with milk, unbelievable! I have to check out their other items because there are deli meats, cheese and more. Service is always great and friendly!
