I really wanted to like this place but it didn’t live up to my expectations. The aesthetic of this place is incredible, too bad the service and food could not live up.The server was non existent, barely came over to check on how the table was doing, didn’t take my drink or food order. I was constantly having to ask someone for service. The food was very expensive for what it was. The chicken bites were tiny and lacked taste. The fries were crispy but also chewy as if they sat in oil for a little too long.I saw fish tacos on someone else’s review and thought I would get two big pieces of fish. When my meal came I was severely disappointed with the size considering how much they cost. The burger however really saved this meal from being one of the worst. The burger was moist and melted in my mouth. The combination of crispy onions, arugula, and provolone really complimented each other nicely.Overall not impressed with the Commoner

The food is amazing. I went with two friends and we all raved about the food. Burger was juicy and delicious. The Cobb salad had a perfectly cooked soft boiled egg on it. The beer selection is vast. The different beers show what temperature they're poured at. Nice touch. And the bathrooms aren't in the basement. Hallelujah! I mean I'm including the bathrooms in this review. They were so nice and very clean. One last thing, the service was great. Our server was busy and she really hustled. She always made time to check on us. I'll be back soon.

Was expecting more. Cool ambience is the only way this place delivered.Service was slow and cold, as was the food. The pancake was cool and reminiscent of drywall in terms of flavour. The fries that came with a sandwich were warm at best, so was the tea. It wasn't even that busy when we were there. The water bottle that came out at the start sat empty for most of the brunch - and there was never an offer to get us more. Had to ask for salt and pepper. Really? Not the worst dining experience you're likely to have, but if you expect warm food and friendly service, maybe keep looking.

Excellent bar area with tons of beers on tap and great cocktails. Service was prompt and the food was amazing. I the open garage doors made the spring celebration extra ..springy? Love this spot!

Outstanding. Came here for a late lunch on Monday. Excellent service, pleased to have a place not just open for evening. Also really pleased that it's completely accessible; large ramp at the main entrance, gender-neutral washrooms on the main floor, very open floorplan. The patio was closed due to rain, but the garage door was wide open providing great airflow and a beautiful atmosphere.Food menu is really impressive. Tap list is well curated; cocktail menu looks great too (and all of the photos here are pretty gorgeous). Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Brunch looks especially enticing!!

Went for brunch and while it was great, I was more impressed by the decor than the food. Ordered the classic benny with a side of truffle fries which was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Service was also standard. The decor was modern but also felt rustic at the same time. Looks like it was recently renovated and I feel like it's a great addition to the Roncy pub scene.

I’ve been here a few times since it’s in my neighbourhood, and it’s always consistent. Great service, atmosphere and food. Ashley our server really had great suggestions on drinks and food.

Charming decor, clean bathrooms, delicious bar food. Tad overpriced on the chicken wings, but they were yummy!! And the fish and chips were 1st class.

Went for dinner on a cold night and despite there being other seats open they put me nearest the door at the bar so I was freezing whenever someone came in and out.The chicken burger was good but more than half my fries were burnt and inedible. The diet coke I got was so watery it didn't taste of anything, so I stuck with the water. Also asked for no ice (as it was freezing) but still got ice.It is loud and there's no subtitles/captions on any of their screens so you can't really watch a game or whatever. The service was okay, I actually wanted to say something, but when they came by to ask I was chewing the burger and even though I indicated for them to give me a moment they left right away. Why come and disrupt my meal if you aren't even going to bother to wait for feedback? Just going through the motions is how I'd describe the service.Good decoré but there's like 50 better places within 10 mins. I'd skip this place, it isn't worth it.

If you like an upscale burger this place might be for you! Very tasty food and a unique atmosphere. The prices are a little high but it’s ok. Friendly Staff and quite relaxed, go there you will like it.
