This review is regarding the service (not food and drink). We asked if we could sit outside (it’s not crazy to ask this, especially over the past two years lol) and the waitress made us feel very unwelcome by that request. She said we could sit outside but then she’d have to put on her jacket every time she’d deliver anything to our table.. it takes like 2 seconds to deliver anything outside (it was also 12 degrees and sunny). Great service???
My daughter and l had another wonderful meal at the Belsize. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I can't wait for the weather to improve so that we can enjoy the patio again.
Extremely rude waitress at the front when waiting for a seat - did not eat here as we walked out as she was so rude. Would Avoid. The place looked great but as the waitress was so dismissive and occupied we went elsewhere and had a far better experience.
Delicious neighbourhood spot! Every time I’ve eaten in or gotten take out, it has been delicious. The lamb burger is incredible and so is the haddock panko sandwich! Service is top notch as well!

SERVICE: 5/5No complaints. Our server was very attentive and courteous.FOOD: 3/5I was disappointed in the quality of my burger. The patty was somewhat dry and lacked in flavour. Cheddar cheese should not be on the burger, to begin with. It's gross. Mozzarella or Swiss is the way to go. The buns were good though. The fries were very good too. Not sure why coleslaw wasn't creamy like at most other places. I didn't like their coleslaw. It tasted as if it came from a store-bought jar. It wasn't homemade.Mind you, my experience is limited by one visit. Perhaps, their calamari and "chips and fish" are to die for. I don't know. So far, I'm giving them 3/5 stars. If my experience proves to be different next time, I will consider upgrading my rating.
Wow, great food and service. Love the corner location. Date lunch success. Ground beef made in house, fresh and juicy.
Love this place. food is really good and very friendly staff. Would be nice to have a few more vegetarian choices.
