Never disappoints! I have ordered quite a bit and its always the BEST decision. Apps I love: Mango Salad, samosas, calamari, and satay skewers. The Coconut Chicken Soup is the BOMB!! You cannot lose by ordering the Thai steak, Green Curry or the Oodles of Noodles either. These are just my favourites, but everything is fresh, and consistently amazing ❤️
WARNING ! : ketchup in the padthaiThe “traditional” pad thai is “tomato based” as described by the worker, it tastes like ketchup and noodles?. This is a joke, I just ordered for the 2 for 1 deal and the portions are good, the quality however is lacking. I did not pay 30 bucks for some noodles and ketchup I don’t recommend.
I ordered on skip the dishes a pad Thai and I got a completely wrong order . I got 3 tofu curry’s and a sticky rice. I called to let them know and staff member told me right away yea the driver took the wrong order. I requested a refund through skip and they didn’t issue it they denied it. I understand is not your fault but please make it up to me I spend my money and got a wrong order and had to order from different place .
The crispy beef and the fried veggies tasted great for a quick lunch.
WARNING---Make sure you don't remove 2nd item on ubereats 2 for 1 deal for this location. They will not give you the 2nd item. The Manager would not add in the 2nd pad thai due to the ubereats cart removal. Same price for 2, but you only receive 1. Very unreasonable that they would not place the 2nd pad thai in. It's their promotion!!!!! Very unfortunate since I've been ordering from here for a year...... not a good way to appreciate your customers who keep your business alive......

I was in the area and checked this place out and was so pleasantly surprised. The curry pad Thai is amazing! Such friendly people that work there too.
I've ordered in many times from Thai Room at Carlton, and been there several times in 2019 and 2018. Mostly good, sometimes great, and always solid. However, disappointed with my last two orders (both takeouts), and things seem to be going downhill. Taste was fine, but there was very little meat and vegetables in the sauces/curries compared to their usual/previous portions. I understand that inflation is very high right now, but at least maintain your quality, and raise prices if you need to instead of cutting corners. Or maybe provide some options such as small vs. large portions. A popular spot in St. Lawrence Market increased sandwich prices by 20% and seem to be doing just fine.
Food is great, fantastic portion size and quality for the price. Service is also very speedy, which is wonderful. The only downside is that alcohol options late limited, with wine only available by the bottle.
Delivery order was supposed to take 20 minutes. Called after an hour and was told the food was ready and waiting for the driver and it should go out asap, called again 20 min later and was told exact same story. Food arrived after an hour and half. Restaurant refused to make something fresh.Have had decent experiences with other Thai room locations, but this one is awful. Not the first issue I've had with this place.There are plenty of other Thai restaurants, do yourself a favour and choose somewhere else.
