Localized Thai food. The location is good but the taste could be more spicy.
Ordered Thai ice tea, chicken pad Thai, beef rice with fried egg. The iced tea just tastes like melted white chocolate. The beef rice was really oily and just tastes like food court quality.
Nice classic Asian restaurant with a variety of meal from different country. Price rang go from 9$to18$ per meal. So it a good place to share stuff.
Don’t mind the hater’s reviews, those are from people who’s used to Toronto’s hipster Thai-fusion bars - and come and see this lovely place for yourself.In my experience, this is the most authentic Thai joint in Toronto so far. I’ve been frequenting here for 10 years, it still holds up strong even when I compare it to my favourite joints in ChiangMai and Krabi.*bonus, they have the best window view tables for any parade on Yonge at.
We ordered takeout from this establishment at lunch on New Years Eve. Our first choice for Thai, was not open. We had 4 different dishes and all were flavourful. But all of us were surprised when we opened the bag containing the meal and wondered if something had been forgotten. We ordered Curry, pad Thai Mango Chicken and Khio Poi (sp). I was famished and inhaled my food in less than 5 minutes. Could have had twice as much. Even our son's tiny girlfriend finished and would have had more. At our usual establishment, we'd have been full and there would have been enough for another snack. So ... disappointing.
Fresh, delicious, and my Thai Mama Tom Yum Noodle soup had 5 tiger shrimp. Server was cool. Between this and #1 special, my tummy and I are cheerfully rolling out the door.
The portions sizes are great if you hate life and are on a diet. Definitely eat ahead of time before you come to eat (snack) here. Spice? What spice? Taste? Sure...they add bare minimum ingredients to give u the illusion of taste.
I was probably one of the first guests here that day. Ordered Pad Kra Pao Moo with Kai Dao. Was tasty and good portion size. Prize was ok.
Rude and unwelcoming server. Darkly lit restaurant. Beef and shrimp with rice were tasty,portions were too small.Unlikely to return.
