Ordered in food for family gathering of 14. So delicious and the array of vegetarian dishes made my family very satisfied. Such good flavours, the butter chicken had good white piece portions ( I’m fussy about that). The garlic naan had such a delectable charred flavour. The paneer dish - wow. The cashew pineapple rice I want to eat every day ! What a find - lucky Toronto !
came here for dinner on a week day. At first i have a doubt if food taste good since no people inside but we still decided to try. I am not really a big fan of curry but this place now made me like curry. And for their spicy pad thai.. it is certainly super spicy for me. large serving and it can be shareable.
We ordered the Thai Ice Tea but it was too sweet, less tea. The Mango Sticky rice is too much rice, less mango and honestly not what I expected. We also ordered the chicken Tomyum but the chicken was too dry, not juicy. The service is so rude. The server ( I think she is Indian) brought me the Deep fried coconut shrimp and said: “ I don’t know if it is good or not, but you have to finish it” which is odd. The washroom is not that clean. However, I find they have quite a lot orders from DoorDash and UberEat, and I don’t understand why.
Came in very hungry with my friend and the portions were huge, we couldn't finish them. Pad thais were super yummy, would recommend. Added chili oil for a good kick. Samosas were good as well, 7/10.
This restaurant offers delicious food, with large portions, at an amazing value. I'll be honest, I didn't expect to love the food as much as I did. The sauce in the curry was so rich and flavorful, the meat and vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the sticky rice was a great match. If you're craving Thai food, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I will say, however, the restaurant could use a few upgrades in decor, and serving water in beer glasses was an odd choice.
There aren't a ton of options in the immediate vicinity of Trinity Bellwoods Park, but Thai Elephant satisfied our craving for Thai curry. The staff were quite friendly and the portions were large. While it is not the best Thai food, it is perfectly acceptable and we have nothing to complain about.
I have traveled to Thailand three times and I don’t use the word AUTHENTIC lightly for this place. The food here tastes exactly like the food I got used to eating on Khao San Road and the street food all over Thailand. The green chicken curry was creamy and burst with flavour. It had the perfect level of spice for the typical westerner. The pad thai tasted like I paid 50 baht to a street vendor and it came fresh right out of his wok. An authentic and pleasant surprise. Just need the Chang beer. Amazing!
Thai Elephant is my go to place for Thai food and it has been for a few years now. It is delicious and excellent value. I typically order red curry with tofu, veggies, and rice and spring rolls. I've also had their coconut rice, pineapple curry and stir-fry dishes - it does not disappoint! Friendly service as well :)

Thai elephant is kind of like a hidden gem. It’s downtown but very Lowkey. Although it doesn’t look like much, they make delicious Thai food at an affordable price. Can’t ask for more. These pictures (obviously) don’t do them justice, the food was delicious!
