Have been going there since 2017, on average once a month.Very good quality sushi (dont expect high end quality though but its way better than any all you can eat)Best value of your money.Service is quick, no messing up orders like other places.Highly recommended
I used to live in Annex area for years. This resto always had a long line of people, I never understood until tonight. Not that I'm saying their service is bad or anything, this is one of the most westernized sushi shop you can go.Basically, there are some basic rules you follow to be called as "a decent sushi restaurant.".I know some as an asian and also used to be a hot food cook in a sushi resto.-Their rice was wayyyy too sticky to be used as sushi rice(wrong measurement&time setting). And it's way too much, just way to much.-You don't put just a bulk seaweed in miso..chop it or crush it.-Some pieces were pretty fresh but tuna was like a jerky. Dried, even rolling up on the edge because of dryness. More than a day old.-You don't use raw seaweed out of a package for a roll..It is supposed to be burnt or grilled a bit so it has crunchiness not sticky, chewy taste..(they are just saving time)-strain your tea.. it's not how you serve.(this is disgraceful if you bring any senior and serve them tea like this.)(another saving time and less hassle)Overall, people are here because they don't feel that much hungry after eating "sushi".Sorry guys, but I have to say it. That's why there is barely any asian in this store, we know it's not even close to "sushi".Feeling the fullness in your stomach is not how you enjoy sushi. However, it's a restaurant that serves sushi looking food with decent desserts (free ice cream & coffee).Sadly, the best thing I had was green tea ice cream?. Ice cream and great service made it 3 stars.
Sushi is always fresh and tasty. Price is very fair. Staff is friendly and nice. Parking is a bit tricky.
I've been going here for almost a decade and I always get the sashimi bronze and the gold maki set. Really good value to price ratio. Great service. Consistent quality. It's a tier three sushi restaurant.
The food was so good, so fresh and so tasty. I really recomebd the place specially because of the price which is super affordable.Better arriving early because I arrived at 8 and need to wait for 35 minutes outside.I wouldn't recomend this restaurantfor large groups of people because the place is small and I feel it couldn't fit more than 6 people in a table.
We ordered the lunch special for about $13 (tax included). I had the salmon and avocado maki, and a spicy salmon maki. These pieces were massive —see the cup of green tea and bowl for scale. The spicy salmon maki wasn’t spicy, but my perception of spice may differ from yours. I did appreciate the hint of green onion and simplicity of the roll because it showcased how fresh the salmon was. There was a generous amount of rice, so we were satiated. The combo also came with a side salad and miso soup. Overall, a classic place to get sushi for a reasonable price.
Great prices, good sushi. Always enjoy the sushi and unlimited green tea at this place!
Been coming here for years and it’s always a great meal. Fish is fresh and prices are more than reasonable.
I love this place. Great food, great service, amazing prices, and very convenient location! I have been coming here for many years and plan to continue for many more :) Definitely recommend if you're in the area and looking for a sushi spot to try many dishes.
Best sushi on the block! There service isn't the best especially when it's busy (depending on the server of course) but they have such a high table turn over that the quality fish is exceptional (for the price range). Love this place, it's my go to for sushi ?
