Ordered nearly 20-23 dishes for takeout. Quantity good. Taste mediocre. Customer service v poor. The lady at the counter, Grace, seemed unobliging to every request we made. Don’t think she knows there is a word like ‘yes’. We wanted steamed rice in a tray which she said no. Requested for the sauce of chili chicken to b given in separate containers she said no. All she was interested in was to close the sale and hang up. Will never risk ordering for a party from here.
The employees were incredibly rude. It's as if they’re giving out food for free or something. They litterally talk to you like you're 4 when you ask for prices or clarification on combos. The good is definitely not worth the service and the employees you put up with. Plus the food tastes like old oil and there's too much ginger in everything. This is my first time ever posting a review, I wouldn't post a review if the food was bad but the behavior was unreal I've never had such bad cutomer service.
I wish I could rate them zero. The worst service ever. The owner and the employees all are so rude, they literally fight with the customers, as if they are giving food for free. The food tastes really good but its not worth the fight they do with every individual. Order it online and enjoy the food but stay away from talking to such ill mannered staff.
Basically their customer service is horrible. The food sometimes is okay and other times just terrible. But the way they treat their customers in general is beyond horrible.
Wide variety of dishes (Chinese, Indian, Thai, Carribean) with authentic flavour. They have probably the best pakoras around, and we shop from Guelph to Oshawa! Huge chunks of fish and chicken, with a perfect spice level and saltiness. The restaurant has large booths for dining in. The staff know the menu well, which makes ordering take out over the phone a breeze. Good value lunch specials too. If you're looking for something new to try, the lollipop chicken was a pleasant surprise.
Never had a bad takeout experience in 5 years of ordering here. They don't pull any punches with their spicy food either. The lower reviews might be cus the lady at the front. She's very stern and serious and in a hurry, which some people might not be used to, but I have no issue with it.
Bombay chicken is a must have here. Everyone that I have gotten to try it are obsessed after! Only ordered takeout, they are usually busy but my food usually takes no more than 30 minutes to prepare, usually 15-20 minutes. I've also ordered their stir-fry vegetables, chicken corn soup, and fried rice which are all tasty but the bombay chicken is definitely off the charts!
One of the true OG of Hakka plaçes. Actual Hakka food, none of that desi Hakka. Portions and quality of food are really good.
Amazing food, fast and pleasant service, excellent seating and privacy/covid safety with your own booth. Start to finish we had a blast. It's not only tasty, but the portion sizes here are ridiculously large in comparison to every other GTA Hakka place; you will not be disappointed!
The food taste great! We've always buy take outs, however, we've notice lately that with their beef and broccoli dish , you barely see beef in it, the last time we both 2 sets, in each set there's only 3-4 pcs of beef. Compare to the Halal Chinese Restaurant that I also frequently buy the same dish the number of beef is as close as the number of broccoli. Definitely this can be improve!
