This restaurant makes amazing food. I was working at this restaurant for about a year. I really liked the job and learned how to cook and serve in a matter of 3 months. People would like my food and service. I would give 5 stars to this restaurant but the owner are the most selfish, rude, abusing person ever to his employees. He was harassing and abusing me verbally. I never got a raise even tho I was doing the job of three people. And I didn’t quit because I used to love working there. But eventually I had to quit because I couldn’t take the way they were treating me. It was a racist treatment in all aspects.
Guy manning the place was clueless. Was brutal to watch a lady order black coffee and that whole exchange. She ended up getting an espresso.I had the chicken burrito, was really skeptical about eating it as it was just sitting in the display and was reheated. Looked nothing like the picture, had ground chicken in it instead of a kebab. Will definitely not return... Jeez.Will update this review if I get sick.
The best Barg kebab ever, whole the environment is friendly with really nice staff like an at-home meal. definitely recommend.
We had veal (barg) and chicken (joojeh) and it was flavourful and tender. There are delicious crispy potatoes hidden under the rice (tahdig). The space upstairs is cute and authentic, the view isn’t bad either (see photos). The management was friendly and welcoming, we will definitely be eating here again.
Fantastic food for takeout. Owner and staff are great people - interesting and engaging. Lots of laughs while waiting for our order. Food was very tasty.
Staff is so polite. I was early to pick up my order and I was offered a coffee while I wait. I was back for my second Ghormeh Sabzi in a week - it's really that good.
Ordered the chicken breast kebab for lunch. I ordered off DoorDash and when it arrived I was shocked at the massive portion it came in! The money you pay for the portion you receive is worth it. Overall the chicken, rice and potatoes tasted very good and fresh.
Absolutely horribleThe amount of potatoes in this food is CRAZY.There is barely any rice there. It’s basically a layer of bland potato, with a couple spoons of bland rice on top with fried pita bread on top of it all. So basically just potato and bread.The stew is also super bland, dry and literally filled with potatoes(AGAIN).The koobide was very mediocre.In general the food need more salt and less potato.Wont be eating there again
