Went there in a busy afternoon when the street festival started. They have DJ on the sidewalk and nice patio. I ordered their garlic shrimp and cashew chicken. The garlic shrimp was nice and crispy and I love the sauce. But the cashew chicken was a little too dry. Overall, it was still a great experience, will go back again.
Friend got food poisoning … 911 was called because he was so sick & they really didn’t seem to care . Very bad customer service!!!
Ordered food last night. My husband started to feel sick a few hours later. This morning we woke up and went to the gym. As soon as we finished he started throwing up violently for hours and was sick to his stomach. I had to call 911 for paramedics to attend to him. The said likely it was food poisoning given everything else checked out just fine. He had the green curry chicken I had something completely different and we didn’t taste each other’s food. I called and spoke to the manager today who informed me he can’t do anything without seeing a doctors note. On a public holiday. So suggested I now take my sick husband to emergency so he can have a doctors note because calling 911 and having paramedics here wasn’t enough for him. So his only advice is contact Uber eats for a refund. Disgraceful. You’ve just lost us as clients and I will tell all my friends this story.
Awesome food! I think it is one of the best restaurants for Thai. Even better than what people think is the best in that area.
Best Thai food in Toronto! Always order takeout here so I already knew the food was delicious. Dined in for the first time tonight and what an experience! Great atmosphere and the most courteous, friendly and attentive staff. Was very busy with every table full and lineups for take out orders but food was delivered quickly. Started with crispy spring rolls served with sweet Thai chili sauce, absolutely devine. Bean sprout soup, delicious! Vegetables stir fry with shrimp, the broth for this dish is my favourite! Tried the lemon grass, basa fillet for the first time and it was phenomenal! Cooked to perfection! Best fish I've ever tasted! Can't wait to come back again and again.
I’d heard a lot about Sukho Thai so I’ve been meaning to try it for a while and I’m happy to communicate that it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, really nice and comfortable ambience as well. Prices are what you’d expect to pay for dinner. I tried their Panang Curry and it was delicious. We also ordered the Khao Soi, good, but we liked the curry more. They have Thai beer on tap, worth ordering.Would definitely come back.We went for dinner during the week and it wasn’t crowded :)
After my training, my friends and I spontaneously popped by here without reservations around 5pm on a Saturday. We immediately got a table and placed our orders. I had the vegan pad thai, which was very satisfying and fulfilling half way through so I had it packed. I always found it tough to finish Thai food because it is very filling and too much carbs to intake. My friends all enjoyed their food as well and took their half home for later to enjoy.The restaurant is warm and energetic. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return again.
Very overpriced for what you get, both in quality and quantity. I don't understand how this place has so many 5-star reviews when it's very mediocre. I ordered Khao Soi and it tasted like peanut soup, not curry. And you don't even get all the extras you get from Pai Northern Thai (although that place is overpriced too). The portions was very small, barely for an adult men to be full. At other Thai places, you get full and there is still food left over. There are much better deals on Thai food in Toronto, but this place seems to have made a name for itself, so people keep coming.
Ordered spring rolls, veggie fresh rolls, masaman curry, and chicken fried rice as take out. Meal was incredible, highly recommend everything we got! Nicely packed and both the curry and fried rice make excellent leftovers.
The food is great and the restaurant has an amazing atmosphere, it's a go-to spot for me! The cocktails are unique and consistently taste great! I have yet to try one I haven't liked. I have enjoyed some meals more than others, as there a few that are definitely lacking sauce/vegetables, but make sure you ask in advance to be sure and you won't be disappointed!
