This place is amazing ?? Great Caribbean Fusion Restaurant. We ordered the Jerk Chicken Fettuccine ? and the Cajun Chicken Penne. Both meals came with a shrimp ? skewer for extra cost. The good is delicious. The dish is flavorful and it is not spicy. The drink menu is very exciting. They put a Caribbean twist on classic cocktails. I enjoyed my dining experience and can't wait to return. I highly recommend this location. The vibe, the food, the atmosphere ?? everything is ???
Absolutely loved this little restaurant on the Danforth. The atmosphere was lit! The music was pumping with their DJ. All staff and owners were super friendly and accommodating. We sat outside and ordered apps and dessert. Food was delicious! The only negative I would say is the service is slow. Drinks came out 2seconds before our apps. It was hot outside and we needed those cool drinks. Water came with no ice and no straws. But other than those minor issues, we had an amazing time! Owners came to chat with us which was also nice. I will definitely return and work my way through their menu
Caribbean cuisine with Trinidad and Grenada's cultural backgrounds, for both, vegetarians, like us, or carnivorous like the ones that kept on that path. Pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of our waiter and the exquisitely designed, decorated and tasty dishes. What you do not see at your table, you will see it at others sitting close by. You will look with awe. This is a trully classy place. Here you could impress anyone. We sat in their pretty patio, with their modern and comfortable chairs, tables and umbrellas for those that are not ready for perhaps, one of our richest summer gifts "?". Once visiting this location, many other locations will fall short of your expectations. A washroom downstairs for customers, readily available. There is plenty of room for your bicycles while you eat and space between tables. Our experience was great. we started with a lemonade with low sugar. If you like, I believe hibiscus and cloves, this is very different. I really liked it. We then got the mango salad, yes very impressive ? ?. After this, we had the Soul Bowl. I thought this would be a soup, but instead, got chick peas, candied yam, awesomely tasting bread fruit, rice, red cabbage, etc. I would have cooked the cabbage, but the dish was quite a treat regardless. Their prices are adequate, and not exaggerated at all. Their service is great, and I understand, they have live music on Saturdays. Yes indeed, we will return. Wonderful restaurant on the Danforth, one of my favourite Caribbean im the east end. Patio seating and ample indoor seats as well. The decor, vibe and music made the restaurant very lively.The two of us had the blackened shrimp tacos, jerk chicken fettuccine and oxtail bowl. The jerk chicken fettuccine blew my mind, and was my favourite dish hands down. The pasta was al dente, the Alfredo sauce was very flavourful and there was a healthy portion of tender jerk chicken. The oxtail bowl was delicious as well. Highly recommend.
I enjoyed my experience at SugarKane. I received very friendly service from the wait staff, and the owner Nikki was very pleasant. Regardless of how busy it got, she made the effort to stop by our table to make sure everything was up to par.I ordered their Blackened Shrimp Tacos as an appetizer and it was delicious. Do note, only two tacos are served with the order, so be mindful in case you were looking to share it. The main, Curry Goat Bowl was HITTING!! It was so delicious, I ended up placing another order to-go.Overall, SugarKane is well worth it and will not disappoint!!
An amazing culinary experience. Everything we had was simply amazing. And the dessert was particularly enjoying. The restaurant has the perfect ambience. Customer service was impeccable. Our server was always available when we needed her without hovering.A wonderful experience all around. Certainly worth the hour long drive in traffic.
This was a phenomenal take out order. Every place I go I have to ask for sauce and salad on the side. SugarKane actually did all that without me requesting. Quality food and service oh yeah, very delicious! I'd be happy to go back again to dine in! Chicken & Waffle slider is honestly so good! The oxtail was ao delicious. Thank you!!
This was my first time dining in. I have ordered takeout a few times before. Our waiter was great. The food was very good. The sorrel mojito was not the best.
I saw a post on Tik Tok about this place and had to try it! And boy was I NOT disappointed!! Walking in you could see that this place had a vibe! Great music, lighting and deco! It was a busy night for them but the owners still came out to chat. The food was incredible. Iv never tasted such a creamy, flavourful spinach dip!! The ox tail fell off the bones. All the dishes came out piping hot and tasted so good! The cocktails were so yummy. (And strong!!) Large portions and reasonably priced. I would def recommend this place on a Friday night.
