Best milkshakes and brisket in Toronto
Is it accessible?It is wheelchair accessible to enter the restaurant and sit at the table however all bathrooms are in the basement without an elevator :( We ordered for a party of 8 and 6 of us are in wheelchairs so washrooms for us.Food to Price?The quality of the food overall was good, can't complain for the price. My friend enjoyed the pitmaster wings and I shared the brisket + ribs with a friend, which was plenty for us both!I am not a fan of beans in general so I didn't really like the beans. Also the cornbread was very dry (keep in mind I tried it before anything else). However the brisket and the ribs with its BBQ sauce is very flavourful and melts in your mouth.Approved food?Ribs + brisket, wings, Bacon burger, pulled pork poutine.Note to change: the casing for poutines was medal and my friend complaint of an after taste of that towards the bottom. Maybe add paper in the container.
Decided to spend Father's day dinner here...arrived shortly before closing around 750 pm (they closed 830)...everyone was hospitable at first...ordered the ultimate platter (pictured below)...feeds 3-5 people...Ribs - were fabulousBrisket - was so tender and juicy = yumPulled pork - was greatColeslaw - yumBrussel sprouts - goldenParmesan fries - very good(Cud have been crispier but still good)Then it goes down hill from thereSeasoned wings - tasteless and dryBaked beans - tangyMac N cheese - no good...When my kids don't like your Mac n cheese that's how I know it's bad...then I tried it and saw why for myself...tasteless, pasta maybe seemed rushed and not fully cooked not sure why cuz it looks like it was baked and altogether just not appetizing...but those were the sides...the well done meats made up for what the sides lacked...however that brings me to the customer service...everything was fine when we got there and even when we got our food...then it takes a turn...right around when they closed at 830...its almost like they forgot guests were still there...once we received our food and were asked if everything was good we were forgotten...and it's like the professionalism went out the window...servers and other staff from the kitchen were joking around and highfiving loudly...huddle up together checking out their "new work schedules" not even concerned with patrons still eating...I understand they're tired and ready to go home and all but remain professional until ur patrons leave...then we were done eating and couldn't even find someone to get our bill....I really hate not tipping but I do regret leaving one this time...usually if anything is wrong it's the food and not the customer service but this time it was the other way around...Food was great for the most part...And customer service needs to be consistent and better the whole way thru...
Never a disappointment when going here. Food is always good and staff always friendly and go above and beyond.
My son and I were there to celebrate as we had a couple years before. We absolutely loved the burgers and the great selection of craft beer on tap. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Love STACK.
Consistently delicious smoked meat! Try the brisket and smokehouse Reuben sandwich and don't skip on the Parmesan fries ?
It was great to visit again. Staff are always so nice and friendly. Food was yummy but can be a bit pricey. Smokehouse Bowl was yummy and a huge serving!
Great restaurant for best variety of smoked meats ….. also the tomahawk steak platter is incredible… Kitchen manager and staff are incredibly helpful and nice to help cater the night to your preference.
Dropped in for a quick bite after golf. Seated promptly. Service was pleasant and efficient. Beer was cold! I had a brisket sandwich which was excellent! My friend had the smoked chicken wings which he felt were lackluster and not worth a reorder. You can't go wrong with their smoked meats.
I visited for lunch and boy was I surprised. This place has some wonderful food selection and the decor is very nice. First, the food. I ended up ordering the massive platter as I really wanted to sample what they got. It is a massive platter. Good for 3-5 people easily. The food was amazing. The staff as well. Very pleasant and helpful in recommendations. The decor is very modern. Tables nicely spread out. I will be returning to this place very much once I get my appetite back. So filling.
