Whenever we go downtown we try to stop by the St Lawrence Market and get a dozen fresh bagels from St Urbain. We don’t get enough authentic Montreal style bagels around here and these are just really good. Get there early though if you want a full selection… some of the more popular ones sell out sooner than others. Usually plenty of standard sesame to last through most of the day. They make really good sandwiches too.

PETITE BAGEL! Great taste and texture, and jalapeño cream cheese is delicious; it is pity the size of the bagel, seems they are beating the inflation reducing the size of each one.

Ordered a custom bagel and it was delicious! Chewy and savory I ordered a multigrain bagel with lettuce and egg salad. The egg salad was just right! Not too soggy or too creamy the lettuce adds a touch of freshness to it.Quick and efficient, they're not too busy in the early morning (surprisingly). I'd definitely come again to try different combos, but maybe not put everything all at once lol.

First time trying an actual bagel that isn't from Tim Hortons or any fast-food joint. I got an everything bagel with smoked salmon, garlic cream cheese, capers & veggies. It was really delicious and the portions was great!

such a great Montreal style bagel place inside the St. Lawrence market! can buy in dozens but i usually get a single onion bagel toasted with either garlic and herb cream cheese or butter and BLT style. they prepare fresh in front of you at the bagel bar after you order. it is right by a door leading to outdoor picnic benches to enjoy ?

If you are gluten intolerant save your money, their gluten free "bagel" is a bun that taste like saw dust.

As I write this review, I realized that I’ve been here over 10 times but have never actually tried their bagel! I always stop by because I love their chocolate hazelnut pastry and the mushroom potato knish- yum!

I have been going to this location for a long long time. Used to be the best place to buy Montreal bagels in Toronto. Hidden in the back corner of st Lawrence market. I bought some bagels to enjoy but when I got to them today, I noticed they were grossly undersized and tough to eat. The size really bothered me but the positive was that you used extremely less cream cheese on each bagel. I wish this was an isolated incident but all 6 of my bagels were extremely small. Which means that they deliberately gave me this size thinking I wouldn’t notice or this is their new size. Prices didn’t go down for these mini bagels. Personally, I will be boycotting this location until they get back to a much bigger size. As a former resident of Montreal, I am very disappointed.

Whenever I go to the St.Lawrence market I ALWAYS go here! The bagels are always freshly made and I usually get sesame which is absolutely the best bafel they have. Go here is you crave a Montreal style bagel.
