-We decided to try Soulas Modern Greek Cuisine a couple days a go.I was expecting the service to be a more efficient. No one came to our table to serve us until we made note of it for everything.Or check in that everything is going well with our meals.-Food was good. We had Aioli Lamb Soulvaki , Chicken Soulvaki Dinner, Sagakani, (pairs nicely with the pita bread) andGreek God Drink(definitely would not recommend)-The Sagakani presentation was beautiful (with the flames.
always delicious food with good service , in the heart of Greektown
Food was fantastic. Highly recommend!
Very busy on a Saturday night, reasonable service and live music. Atmosphere filled with large groups of friends, bright lights and chatter. Lots of lamb options, tasty appetizers and variations of Greek salad. Good value for money. One drawback was toilet area smelled heavily of cigarette smoke both times I went (wondering if Staff have an indoor secret smoking room downstairs?)Recommend the sagonaki (flaming cheese) or Chicken Santorini
If you like Greek food this place might be for you!Excellent!!!! We came upon this while looking for something to eat. A very good find! All the food was excellent the staff super dry and helpful. If you are in the area go here!
Service 5 out of 5Food quality 4 out of 5Cleanliness 4 out of 5Price. 5 out of 5Vibe. 4 out of 5Gorgeous restaurant in the heart of Danforth and a few minutes away from the Greek town.Great place to have a tasty greek food. Overall happy ?
I have been here twice and whatever we order, it is tasty and mount watering. Food 5/5.However service is 3/5 and because of the service, I am not gonna go there again. I have experienced same thing in different time, they rush you out of there to try and “flip the tables”, so more customers will come in.Last time we order our food, and still we were working on the food and drinks, waiters ask us if we want to order something else. Come on , I just got my food 20 min ago and I have food in my plate. When the waiters come second time, she gave us take out container for our food and ask if we want to order or bill. We just want to out and it ruins our night. Very disappointing.
Had a fantastic experience on a Saturday night (March 5, 2022).They had live music and it was perfect. Wasn’t too intense. Wasn’t overwhelming. Song selections were on point.Reservations: on their website there’s a “contact us” form to fill out. In the body I placed my desired reservation time, date and number of people. The day after I received an email saying my reservation was confirmed. We ordered Saganaki as a starter and that was fantastic. Then I got the rack of lamb dinner ($36) and it was to die for! The lamb was cooked perfectly and the carrots/scalloped potatoes were the perfect compliment. My girlfriend ordered the chicken souvlaki dinner which she said was delicious. There was so much left over that she took half home. The service was great and efficient too! It was my first time eating Greek food in Greektown and it was a 5 star experience! Thank you Soulas!
Delicious chicken and gyro souvlaki. Big portions. Rice is basmati. Greek dressing is homemade and absolutely divine. The trilogy of spreads - 3 dips for $18 also comes with olives, feta, cucumbers and bulgur. The tzatziki had a little too much garlic. They also give two big pitas. The saganaki was amazing!!! Definitely try it as an appetizer!
I placed an order for pick up through their online site. The estimated time to prepare the food was 25 minutes but it actually ended up taking an hour. The food was generally tasty but I was disappointed because my order included the mixed grill platter, which on their ordering website said included a complimentary dip platter and dessert for 4. I didn’t receive either of these “complimentary” items and after emailing them to inquire about it, haven’t heard anything back in 5 days. On top of this, I had ordered the same mixed grill platter 2 weekends prior (without the complimentary items) for $75. But when I placed my order for the platter with the “complimentary” items the price had increased to $93.75, which I was fine to pay as I was expecting the extra dip platter and dessert for 4. They’ve since pulled the mixed grill platter from their online ordering site, but it’s still available on UberEats for $75 without the “complimentary” items. It seems like there’s some price manipulation going on with their menu items and based off my latest experience, I’ll be supporting the other Greek restaurants nearby on the Danforth instead.
