Well for the price, I was quite amazed at the generous portions and how fresh the food tasted. Staff was friendly indeed.I ordered, "la Traditional". Everyone else's plated looked amazing as well.

Food was great. We got a massive nachos and it’s so good however, “melted cheese” ain’t melted. It’s dried out. But still, the price u pay is worth the food. I’m not just sure about the service. It’s really hard to get the server’s attention.Note: they don’t split chequesTip: bring cash to get huge discount!

This is one of our fav places this side of town. Drinks and food are well priced, metal music and an all round cool place.
We decided to try this place out cause it had good reviews, but once we got there we dealt with passive aggressive staff who sounded like they were trying to hold their rudeness in. If that wasn’t bad enough, we got the tacos and burrito and the food here is some of the most bland, flavourless food I’ve ever had in my life. I don’t know how this place is still open in an expensive and competitive city like Toronto, and how it has so many good reviews. I’m guessing the people rating it well never had real Mexican food or just don’t know what good food tastes like. This place was a huge waste of money.
An easy place to for a bite and drinks. You can be in sweats or jeans or a dress, SD does not discriminate!

This experience happend around a month ago but I'm gonna write about it now cause I've kinda come to terms with it.There was a giant shard of glass in my drink when I went. My cup wasn't broken, there was just this huge shard of glass sitting at the bottom of my cup.In all honestly I almost swallowed it cause no one looks at glass in their cup and really computes that its glass. As soon as it was in my mouth, I just knew it wasn't ice though, and spat it back out. How scary.I will say that the staff here are lovely and were very concerned for my well being when this happend. Also the food wasn't bad for the price. Ya we got a 20% discount which my friends didn't think was enough considering I could have DIED. But it's fine.Do I think this will happen to anyone ever again? No... this was a careless mistake. But a careless mistake still requires someone to have not been following proper safety protocol so I really don't know how to feel about it.
Hands down my favourite bar in the city. Killer little venue. Staff is always friendly and awesome, prices are solid, best nachos and potato skins you'll find ANYWHERE!
