Not the best poutine I've tasted. Couldn't even finish it all because I wasn't really enjoying it. The place was completely empty too. Either I failed to understand the hype or it's well past its glory days.
A classical place for poutine. Pretty great poutine and you can even get a few variations. If you want to get this dish then this is a pretty great place.
Had to go get some in Toronto. They had tons of different options but went with the original since it was my first time. The poutine was solid but nothing special. Would like to try some of the other kinds.
This was my first time getting poutine and DAMN was it good!! The cashier was so friendly and nice and even gave us a little extra curds it was my first time having poutine. I would definitely recommend to everyone in the area.
This is a fast service restaurant. We are not experts in poutine, but ordered three types. They basically all tasted the same... like gravy. It was very hazy inside, like someone had burned something earlier, but since the place is called Smokes, maybe that is the normal atmosphere? There were some mild service issues with our order, confusion that caused us to place a second order. I think maybe Canadian poutine is just not our thing, but if you love it...check it out.
We tried the regular and boneless chicken wings poutine, it wasn’t the greatest. Was not happy with the fries and gravy ratio. And there were only 3 pieces of chicken. The place was clean, but it’s certainly overrated for the price. 10.99 per poutine.
V fresh. Perfectly fried fries with perfectly balanced and flavorful gravy. We tried traditional, cauliflower and buffalo chicken. All of them were good but my most favorite was the buffalo chicken one
I could not even wait to eat my poutine at home I took my time enjoying every bite out walking the streets on the way home.

It was delicious. Just wasn’t as awesome as I thought it would be. The picture is Philly Cheesesteak. We also ordered Bacon and Buffalo Chicken. The latter two were better and richer in taste.
