Prices were OKAY, location a little small, staff can be a little rude, we were constantly being ignored and had to get up the table to order more stuff. We ordered a koobideh, baklava, a lemon cheesecake and tea.The skewers were nice and tasty, the rice was a little dry and the veggies were just uncooked. Baklava was decent and the lemon cheesecake wasn't a cheesecake and it did not taste like lemon. Tea was just a packet tea.
Ordered kobedeih to dine in, the guy made my kebab in front of me with 99 percent attention to phone and scratching. No gloves no mask or hair net while handling food. Taste was good and portion of rice was more than enough. They need to respect food and customers
I have been to shatter abas in Thornhill many time before so I was excited to check out this branch since it is closer to me but I was disappointed. The food is okay but the service is terrible. They served their food in plastic plates and plastic cutlery and plastic cups. No checking on the guests, no water, no plates until you ask multiple times. They did not have fresh iranian bread. Instead they gave us some old pita bread. Kebabs are decent but the rice, lamb chop and mirzaghasemi were not the best. I don't recommend this plaec as a dine in restaurant. If you are looking for a nice sit down persian food experience this is NOT the place for you.

Sorry but I need to change my review, I'm really disappointed and sad because I loved this place but we bought joje kebab (chicken kebeb) and koobideh (ground beef kebab) tonight ... they both were old like they cooked them hours or day ago and just made them warm , not juicy or tasty at all (burned in some part)... also rice was dry , green pepper and tomatoes which they need to be grilled were raw .... really bad ,,, really really bad ... not only I'm not going to this place anymore I'm not going to any other shutter abbas in Toronto anymore... not recommended at all ,,,, bad food
Our first experience with Shattar Abbas was amazing! We ordered platter #4, and Gheimeh. The portions were large which suited our family of 5. Would highly recommend. Friendly staff, beautiful presentation, bright and clean restaurant. Fantastic addition to Yonge and St. Clair food scene.
Just had some tasty Ghormeh Sabzi to go. Delish! Great portion and very friendly take out service.
Please ask your staff not to touch the receipt/ dirty surfaces and then touch the food and salad with bare hands. Please provide them with gloves. Food is great but health and safety not so much.
