Delicious food with great price. Love the veggies platter. I love the traditional coffee too. Highly recommend.

Don't bother trying to write them with questions. They NEVER respond. Consequently I will NEVER spend my Vegan dollars there.

Some of the best Ethiopian food I’ve ever had. I’ve been three times now, and always order a Vegetarian Platter to share — great quantity and selection of different dishes and truly delicious.

What a cozy and relaxed restaurant. I love the ambience! Such a nice take on Ethiopian culture. I loved the veggie platter I ordered. Perfect for sharing for two people. Very lovely experience here. We even got a rose bucket to wipe our hands. Check them out if your in and around Christie pits. Relatively inexpensive, especially if you use a groupon.

Delicious flavourful food and great portions/prices. Charming, warm ambiance with intoxicating aromas and friendly attentive servers. Highly recommend all the veggie options.

Good food. Great staff. The music is just a little too loud sometimes.

Authentic Ethopian cuisine, lived the food and ambiance. Great service as well.

Excellent atmosphere. Some regular tables but also some patio lounging sections for that relaxed homey feel. You smell the Ethiopian coffee and delectable cooking in the air as you wander further into the restaurant. Ample food for all as you share your meal together. Service ends with a bowl filled with warm water and flowers to cleanse your hands. Vegetarian food was also vegan but there are beef chicken and lamb options for the unconverted. :)

Selam is one of THE best Ethiopian restaurants I have ever been to, and I travel all over the world eating this fabulous cuisine. The decor of the restaurant is suited for royalty as the space is decorated with beautiful shades of red and angelic cultural relics from Ethiopia
