The food we were served was ok but the food I ordered to bring home (Jerk Chicken meal) may have been a day or 2 old. My husband didn't even want to eat it. Just thought that the same quality would have been right through. I thought wrong. So I give my rating based on my disappointment on what I brought home. But while at the restaurant I did appreciate the slice of cake given to my friend for her birthday.
Some of the best food I've had the pleasure to eat. The staff is very hospitable making the dine in orders that much more enjoyable. You won't regret bringing your date here!?
Excellent food, presentation, and team. An amazing Jamaican restaurant you can sit in.Fresh and tasty. Had the jerk chicken dinner. Well cooked, as was the rice/peas, and coleslaw.Easily one of the best in GTA. Highly recommended.
Went here over the weekend for dinner, and boy was I in for a real treat! Authentic Jamaican Cuisine at its finest, with amazing staff and absolutely delicious food! The Jerk Chicken is flavorful with an added hot sauce to give it a kick if you're a spice fan. Wonderful experience, would definitely recommend to family and friends!
I came across this small little gem while on a walk down avenue road, and am I ever glad I did!!! Not only is the food amazing, but the staff were warm and inviting. I had the oxtail, and it fell right off the bone, it was so tender. I will be returning very soon!
Fantastic food and huge portions. I had the Oxtail with Rice & Peas. The gravy was outstanding and the rice and peas were equally delicious. Also had the patties which were spiced perfectly and light and crispy. Would recommend
We ate at ScottHill on the evening of February 5th to celebrate a birthday and I'm glad we did. The food was authentic and delicious, the staff were super accommodating, and we had absolutely no complaints. Highly recommend!
I live near Scotthill Caribbean Cuisine and have passed this establishment many times over the years. I have not tried it before today as I thought the really authentic Caribbean cuisine was only to be found in Scarborough. I was wrong. On a whim, I went to Scotthill for lunch. It exceeded all expectations - I started with a hearty vegetable soup which I suspect is one of their specialties and could have stopped there. However, it was quickly followed by a chicken curry roti that was savoury and spicy (although I put extra hot sauce on it) and accompanied by coleslaw and fried plantains. That, and a ginger beer came to $20.00. A great deal. There are a lot of vegetarian options available and so my wife and I will be regulars.

Flavourful Caribbean food. Had the jerk chicken dinner, jerk pork appetizer and vegetable soup. It was all delicious and well presented. Nicely decorated, comfortable seating and friendly service. Worth a visit.
