First time trying Indonesian food and we were pretty impressed! The mango drink was a 10/10 and a very fresh and refreshing garden salad are both a MUST try. All in all, the pricing, time to bring food and overall experience was great. Will definitely be coming back.Plus they validate parking for 2 hours and under since the only place to park is a paid garage.

Indonesian food is probably one of my all-time favourite food worldwide, especially the delicious sate ayam with nasi goreng. Funny enough, the taste always brings me back to the time I backpacked in the Netherlands in 2016. I was getting really tired of the deep-fried seafood there so I opted-in the local Indonesian cuisines and oh boy they were absolutely delicious (especially after a joint). The flavours of coconut, grilled meat and peanuts flourishing on my taste buds juxtaposed my visits to different historical buildings & talking to the Javanese diaspora on that trip, learning about the brutal history of colonialism in South East Asia and how they ended up in the Netherlands. Thank you to all the lovely Indonesian, and Javanese peeps living in the Netherlands that emancipated my taste palate from all the deep-fried stuff with mayonnaise, or else id end up eating striped waffles from Albert Heijn for the whole trip.Back to Satay Sate - I was delighted when I walked past Satay Sate & decided to give it a shot. I was greeted passionately by the lady at the front desk, and they walked me through the menu. I had the sate entree at the end with upgraded coconut rice. The peanut sauce was AMAZING on the skewer; the only downside is that the dish was quite small and pricy. I think this place is probably better for groups of friends, so you can share a large plate of nasi goreng, beef rendang and sates.

Food is delicious. Service is great. Atmosphere is beautiful. We got the indonesian fried rice and the beef satay which were delicious. The Mango Soda was so good too. We got both there desserts which were also very delicious.

This is a great weekend restaurant with friends or family. The staff is exceptional and extremely nice, the food was so good I had to go no utensil two handed. I highly recommend the coconut rice, beef rendang, and the tiger shrimp. Seriously the BEST Indonesian food I have had in the GTA region

Most of the food tastes very good, but I would have enjoyed larger portions.

First time trying this Indonesian restaurant after seeing many positive reviews. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, bright and clean with open kitchen. Didn't stay for dine-in. My takeout order was nicely packed and the presentation was good. Ordered the Gado-gado and beef rendang. The Gado-gado was different than what I used to have, not my favorite version. Staff was friendly and the price was fair. However they should be careful with asking for tips for takeouts, it can throw customers off.

Had this awhile back and just getting the chance to review. First time having Indonesian food and I’m officially obsessed! Didn’t have too much of the saucier dishes as it was a takeout order, but will definitely be back for that! The highlight of the meal HAS to be the ayam goreng! The chicken was super crispy with every single bite! And the crispy bits totally had another level of crunch to it as well. Also had another very famous dish called martabak which is a savoury pancake, filled with egg, beef and green onion. This may look simple but was beyond basic! It was amazingly tasty and such a nice fresh outtake on the savoury pancake that I’m used to.The satay skewers were so well done too! The meat was juicy and tender and you have to dip them in that house made peanut sauce. It totally adds another dimension.Service was great and never felt rushed to order and was also informed on how long the wait would be every once in awhile.Great job overall! Definitely coming back for more yummy food!

Just had a wonderful experience here! The food was great, incredibly filling, lovely owner and kind server! I was searching for real Indonesian food and I may have found my go to place!!! The portions are big and very filling! We had a hearty meal and enjoyed our time. The decor was lovely and it’s definitely an experience I’d want to have again. I look forward to bringing my family here to enjoy the lovely food and ambiance. Not pictured: cendol which was great!!

Delicious food. Really loved the coconut rice and fried chicken. Also the restaurant provided a voucher for free parking. All in all great dining experience.

First time with Indonesian food. Somewhat differentiated with Malaysian and Thai cuisine. It is nice indeed. Being used to Hong Kong Cantonese eating, Beef Randeng is soft but rough to my taste. Curry sauce flavor takes all. Might it be over stewed with the big meat chunk while not much fat nor tendon. May take chances to try out its remaining recipes and other establishment as well later. Get a ticket for 2 hrs sponsored parking in the building. A nice environment with many eateries round the corner.
