Restaurant opens at 10 am. The man who opens the front door looks annoyed. Once we were seated and our orders placed, the entire staff sat down for their meal. It was weird to see staff eat their breakfast/lunch while customers wait for their dim sum dishes. This place charges you 15% tip automatically. Dim Sum was descent. Needs a bit more flavor in their dishes. The beef tripe was bland, but their deep fried squid tentacles were great as their were thin and crispy.
This place has been here for quite a while and it’s always consistently busy at almost any time of the day.Everything is made super fresh and always comes out absolutely steaming hot! There are a lot of choices and some nice variety of dishes.Staff are quick and courteous too!
This place does not look much from the outside but we went in and the food was good and you did get plenty of it. My husband tried the chicken feet - not something I would eat but he enjoyed it and the noodles were lovely. The service was a little hit or miss but overall we had a good meal. Only thing was they didn't accept Mastercard so it was either Visa or cash - with luck we had enough cash.
Walking down the street and looking for something enticing to eat, craving everything at once, I knew dim sum was the way to go during this late hour. With these 6 different dim sum dishes, each one was cooked perfectly. Having had dim sum many times, I just thought this would be a good spot to fill the hunger and go. I couldn’t have been more wrong and instead, each dish had a fresh taste that tasted different than my previous dim sum experiences.I wanted more from each bite and experience the flavor all over again. With this kind of food, I had forgotten that I was eating a late night dinner.
Food arrived hot and fresh. Very yummy.
One of the better dim sum places in downtown that is affordable. Taste-wise, it's very standard. Not amazing but not bad either. It's cheaper than the nicer dim sum places like Moon Palace but better the cheaper Dim Sum King. Portion sizes are standard. I spent 70 bucks for 2 people. Overall, a pretty good option in downtown.
Order take out and my item is different from the menu. Instead of chicken, I order for pork fried rice noodle. Super unfriendly staff. Want a good tips from my take out and charge extra for take out containers. This restaurant will close down within the next few years after developer get permission to rebuild the whole block of buildings.
Suggest to skip the line by going between 2:30~4:30 in the late afternoon. We two people got seated instantly even on Weekends. Price and portion are reasonable, $45 for six courses of dim sum including tax and tips.(Not very full) Taste was nothing special, mediocre compare to the other dim sum restaurants called “Moon Palace”. (Dim sums are 10-15% price higher but worth)
Me and my aunt tried this restaurant since it was our first time coming to Chinatown and oh my goodness the food was amazing!! Since it was our first time we did not know the portions were so much so we had to take most of the fried rice and noodles home but everything tasted amazing. We especially liked the tea that they gave for everyone since it was refreshing and tasty. We will definitely recommend this place to our other friends. The staff was also very nice and friendly even though it was very busy??
Wait time - there wasn’t much of a wait. I was seated within 2 mins of arriving at the restaurant.Payment - they only accept cash or visa.Tips - 15% tips or service charge is automatically added to your bill. So keep that in mind.Food - The shrimp dumpling and chicken bun was really tasty. My favourite was fried beef short ribs. I always order this. The Cantonese style fried noodle wasn’t that good. Lacked salt and the vegetables were too chunky. The vegetable roll is good.
