Absolutely delicious!Who knew GFree frozen Asian food could taste this good! What a treat!! Fast and easy to prep at home .. will definitely buy again!Loved the crispy beef, tao chicken, wontons (with my own bone broth) and chicken gyoza served with my own fresh steamed rice!(Bought ours Riz on Yonge from Edible Options in St. Catharines)
Visited this restaurant last weekend with my family which includes my celiac son. We ordered completely from the gluten-free menu and was pleasantly surprised. All the food was delicious and the prices were comparable to other gluten-free restaurants. Our server, Steven, was friendly, polite and patient while we took our time to order.Would definitely recommend this restaurant to others, both celiac and not.
I don't even want to give them a 1 star rating. I used to dine at Riz quite a bit when they first opened and always enjoyed my meal.We had take-out last night .......it was terrible and very $$$ for the portions we ordered. There was a hair in one dish; pad thai was terrible (where was the shrimp?); sticky beef was all sauce and barely any beef. We all agreed we will NEVER go back. Huge disappointment!!!! Save your money and go somewhere else.
When the owner decides the entire menu for your Gluten Free dinner!FABULOUS MEAL!!What an amazing night. I was so happy that everything we ate was Gluten free, even served on plates that were labled GF. The quality, the freshness, the flavours, I was simply blown away. As a Celiac, you are so very limited and always worry when eating out, not tonight at RIZSo very pleased with everything and HIGHLY recommended.
I went to Riz the first week of July 2021 with my family. AMAZING gluten free food Celiac safe! I wish I could have a restaurant like this in Montreal. Not only the food was delicious, delicate, tasteful and so different than the usual. The service was spectacular Terry went all the way for us to have a spectacular experience. 1. Explained the menu 2. Help us make good choices 3. Was very aware of all the allergies and intolerances 4. Helped us with activities to do in Toronto during COVID times 5. She even gave us restaurant names where we could eat with our allergies during our trip and the road back home. AMAZING - I am sorry for the delay to do the review, but since this trip life have been crazy. Thank you so much a JEWEL in this crazy world! We will be back this year 100% and if we could have this service in Montreal it would be great!
We came here specifically because my partner is gluten free and we absolutely loved it. So many gluten free options and everything was delicious. The owner was super nice and the service was lovely. Will totally come back and support because places like this are special. Loved it!
Simply the best GF experience there is! The attention to detail, the flavourful foods they offer, and the warm hospitality really makes me want to come back.
I went there about 2 weeks ago and had an amazing experience trying gf pan-asian food! We were visiting from Vancouver and the owner personally greeted us with Wontons on the house (my personal favourite food we tried there!) If you're celiac and in the GTA def give this place a try you won't regret it! 100% recommend. (the photos are the Wontons, Chicken Gyoza, and Pad Thai)
Exceptional food, service, and hospitality! Just hosted our tea ceremony here and did a restaurant buy out for a time slot. Throughout the entire process, Terry (the owner) was extremely responsive, helpful, and professional. I am so glad there's a dedicated gluten free restaurant like this in Toronto! Every single dish is delicious here, however there is definitely a crowd favourite: you cannot leave here without trying the soft shell crab curry. Thank-you Terry & the entire team that made our day very special and memorable. We can't wait to make more memories here!
Food was delicious, gluten free dishes were specifically labelled even though the entire menu is now gluten free. My partner is celiac and felt very confident eating here. Good alcohol selection and all around nice atmosphere.
