Do not go to this location!!!I came in today to get a pretty simple order and was shocked. The last time I ordered the same, except it was two beef patties and 1/4 lbs of chicken.Today, as a snack, I chose a single beef patty and indicated a 1/4 lb of chicken. The attendant then literally pushed aside any and all of the nice peices on top and chose three of the smallest and oldest pieces of chicken from the botton. And most importantly, this was nowhere near 1/4 lbs of chicken. Furthermore, in case you are wondering, there was no rice; no vegetables; no potatoes; in fact, there was nothing else at all.I was charged $5.50 for three of the tiniest peices of chicken (including bones, mind you) and $2.84 for the beef patty. This has to be the the most expensive pieces of BBQ chicken in Toronto, and the most expensive beef patty in Toronto.The total for the two (literally, four) items after tax was $9.50. Are you kidding me?!?! I could not believe what had just happened.Just walk away ...

Food is good, but service is poor. I got to the store at 2:50. The young women was so slow that someone left the line. Along with being slow, she was clapping her mouth chewing gum over the food as she is serving people. Finally she got to me and I wanted the lunch special and she told me that I wasn't there before 3, the gentleman behind me had to advocate for me because he came in the restaurant right after me. She gave me a extra piece of chicken, which I would have appreciated, if the amount of rice given wasn't so low. The young man at the cash put his finger in my coleslaw container and when I ask to switch it he didn't understand and tried to give me another one. I was so late to eat lunch that I just took the food and left. I like coming here but the service has to change.

The food is great but the customer service need to be improve . The owner is losing a lot of business because of bad customer service. Also a small curry goat for 12.99 with only 3 pieces of meat and two bones is unacceptable. Staff is too busy chatting to help customers.

Today I went to Ritz at around 2 pm and I wanted to order a small bowl of rice. For some random, unknown reason, the person serving me said I am not allowed to get a small bowl, they can only give me mediums or large bowls of rice. I asked why, and they did not have a reason. To be honest, that is extremely weird, especially because during times like this a lot of individuals struggle for their next meal or put food on their tables. This is a form of coercion, and should not be tolerated.

This Carribean restaurant is mobility accessible. When I want great jerk chicken, BBQ chicken, or oxtail this is my local place to go. They always give generous size meals. You can also order through the delivery apps to order from here. To ensure you will get what items you want, it's best to go or order early, as sometimes it's very busy and they sell out of some items later in the evening. The people that work here are always very friendly even if they are really busy. It you get a meal, you have a choice of salad or coleslaw (the coleslaw is really good).

This is my first time posting a review.. I had the worst experience there yesterday Thursday January 6,2022 around 12:15-12:30pm.. First of all the Tvs that the prices are on were off, so you had ask the price of things. The girl with the short hair was so rude and displayed poor customer service.. She needs training..She seemed like she was going through something or didn't want to be there. Her attitude sucked.. I asked her for the price of the ackee and salt meal, she said $12.99 in a rude tone of voice (like I shouldn't ask her the price). I had indicated that the prices aren't visible and that it was my first time ordering that meal there. While sharing the meal, she started to rush me to hurry up and order what else I needed.. She was so impatient..While she was sharing the food, you could see her tummy over the food.. This is very unhygienic. She needs to wear longer shirts or apron..At the cash register, I asked her for some utensils. Her reply was, "I KNOW!" in a irritated way.. I said that it's my first time seeing you here and I always ask for utensils.. She replied that she has been doing this a long time.. Her tone of voice is not fit for customer service. I then asked her a receipt, she paused and then sighed..This was huge turn off for me.. I didn't order some of things I wanted because I felt rushed, unappreciated and unwelcomed. I have been supporting the Ritz for over 5 years now and I have recommended them to friends, Co workers and family and even took some people here over years for a meal... I am not sure if I will be comfortable visiting for awhile..I hope the manager, which I have been trying to talk to on the phone from yesterday but without success, discuss with his staff about excellent customer service and proper hygiene.. If not, this will definitely hurt his business tremendously..However, the Ritz food is one of the best in Toronto/GTA, especially the curried goat... One of my friends is hooked on it..

First time at this location and I was impressed, I ordered a small BBQ chicken combo and Aliyah served a great portion and wasn't stingy with the meat. She gave great customer service and the food was tasty and fresh. Will definitely come back

Well where do I begin! 1st off this place so unorganized every time I come in there there someone new working which it looks bad on your end! Every time I come in there 1 girl working! She works hard. SAD that the managers won’t hire nobody to help her. Seem like she manages very well, very polite and respectful she is! The lines are so long every time I come in I nearly have enough time to eat my lunch on my break.

What disappointment about this place is that looking at all the google reviews and complaints of this place and nothing has changed !!! That’s very very sad in my eyes!! Like the food is good! What I can’t rap my head around is how the emplyees are treated ! HR is suppose to help the employees no if an employee has a problem they go to HR which I think this place really need to be INVESTIGATED BY THE HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES BECAUSE THE WAY THEY TREAT THEY EMPLOYEES IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! Like your legit a working save working at this place!!! Sad !!!

They give little to no meat.. I ordered a large oxtail. And literally got 5 pieces.. do not order from here because the will give you so much less than other ritz places.And note. I came here multiple times and they just kept doing the same amount.
