We always pass by this place and see it's popular. Finally dined in and my husband and I got the Grelhado Misto and it was so delicious! The steak was tender and juicy and we wanted some more! ? The fries was one of the best tasting fries I've had. Price is decent for the serving size and they do come with a few sides. ❤️I couldn't finish mine and had to take it home. The place looks nice as well but I think the music was too loud for me. Our server was friendly and accommodating. ? Highly recommended if you want to try Brazilian cuisine.
Had a good time there after more than 8 years since last time.Food was good, fresh and tasty...Loved the Dadinho de tapioca..My main dish though, I thought the steak was small and thin, it could be better.. and the Vinagrete, was a watergrete and they even charged 4.50 for an extra serve of it.
Service was fast and food was good. We ordered dadinho de tapioca and Polenta frita com gorgonzola, it was really great. My friend ordered coxinha and I didn't like much, it was very dry.As a main dish we ordered a mix with picanha and sausage. It was a small pc of picanha, its good but I thought the price was high for the pc of small picanha.the vinagrete seems to be made with water, didn't taste anything like vinagrete. We complained but they still charged us.I'm glad they improved the food and service.The last time I went to Rio 40 was 10 years ago, at that time the service was bad and the food wasn't great.
The restaurant is more of a casual dinning family establishment. We were looking for a more formal dining experience. Yuca potatoes were dried and friend calamari had too much batter.

Brazilian restaurant in Toronto. I’ve been there on a Saturday which is Feijoada’s day. The food was delicious, portion was good, prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly and professional with great service. I’m definitely returning for a new visit.

Love this place. What a gem! New to Brazilian food, but this spot was recommended to me by a Brazilian friend. Took my family and friends to try it out! Amazing customer service. Our server was so kind and patient, taking care to explain each dish to us and made excellent recommendations.The food was,oh gosh, it was really really good. We tried their ISCA DE CARNE ACEBOLADA COM MANDIOCA (in my opinion, the yummiest dish of all, and it was an app. If you like cheese, look no further), PICANHA GRELHADA (ok, this is their signature dish. HUGE portions! Enough for 2 girls. Tender rump steak, amazing casava! Unique tangy dressing), SALMíO GRELHADO AO MOLHO DE MARACUJÁ (Lets just take a moment to appreciate the passion fruit infused sauce... omg... i had a moment here) and MOUSSE DE MARACUJÁ (i could never say no to dessert and this one does not dosappoint!). I frequent this unique place many times since I enjoy the good air that is outline this restaurant. The staff is extraordianrillyremarkably attentive and experienced. The service is extraordinarily quick. Not to mention, the food they serve is perfect. I came often and I was always pleased. The pay is decent. I suggest this restaurant to to all.
