Rasta Pasta is without question a Toronto Gem!! Located in the heart of Kensington market, the restaurant has two sides: one side offering traditional Jamaican food served with rice, the other side offering a novelty fusion of Jamaican and Italian food served with pasta (ie. Jerk Chicken lasagna ?) A third part has a (small) dine in/curb-side table section with a bar inside (washrooms also found here).My husband and I came here for lunch on our 11th wedding anniversary and it was the highlight of our special day❤️. We sat at the curbside tables and almost everyone walking by couldn’t help but stare at our dishes or comment on how delicious the food smells. Not only was the food amazing, but the quality and presentation was excellent. Also it’s all hands on deck here…everyone was genuinely friendly and attentive, bring out our food by my name!!The only thing this restaurant needs is a food truck, so they can serve each corner of the city…it’s that good people!! Two thumbs..way up!!
The food is so flavourful and everything is freshly made! Will definitely come back it’s a must try. The jerk chicken and fettuccine Alfredo were divine
Got the small, good portion size for those who want to save space for desserts! chicken was rllyyyy good ?? very tender and flavourful. Will def be back to try other dishes (and to eat this again!!!)

I tried the jerk pork here. The rice and everything was very nice but the pork was a bit dry. Prices are fair and portions are good. It's nice but there's room for improvement.
Jerk chicken was fire. The meat was very delicious. The portion size is great, service is amazing. Don't judge the place by the way it looks, their food speaks volume.We also tried the italian fusion pasta and it was creamy, and delicious. A hidden gem in Kensington market.
Here's a restaurant that makes one of the top in Kensington Market that makes very good Jerk Chicken. Also one time picked up a order for a delightful SkiptheDishes customer, they started a BBQ ready for a Pork Roast ? prepared for some delicious Pork menu selections Imagine how awesome the Staffmembers prepare it. So that place is ensure a winner ??

Great place to go to if you are in the area or are willing to drive to get authentic , flavourful taste.They BBQ every 20 minutes right outside of the store, so the food is always fresh.Had the Jerk Chicken Dumpling. It’s a lot bigger than your average dumpling and fully stuffed. It’s a meal of its own. Spoke to the owner of the place and he’s been in the Industry for years. He has hit the nail on the head. Highly recommended.
One of my favorite spots in Kensington Market to grab a bite while walking around. I always grab one Tuscan sandwich and one Vatican, the flavors are out of this world. The jerk pork in the Vatican is savory, juicy very well seasoned with a little spicy kick goes well with the creamy slaw. The bread is soft and slightly grill pressed perfect for absorbing the juices. The Tuscan is no different succulent jerk chicken with slaw stuffed into that delicious bread. If your every in the market please do yourself a favor stop in and grab your self something the menu is truly amazing.Ps- Grab any of the dumplings!! jerk chicken, pork or oxtail<3<3
