My wife and I went here on our first night as it was recommended in the guest book of the Air BnB we were staying at. Food was top quality fusion style. And the service was friendly and efficient. Not cheap but well worth it. We got in without a reservation but I suspect we were very lucky
Had a lovely evening meal at this place. Staff were so accommodating and friendly, especially our server Raven. She made us feel so welcome, even though we hadn’t made a reservation. Food was delicious and of high quality. I highly recommend this place and would love to visit again if ever in Toronto.
Okay i have so much to say about my dinner at Rasa. First of all the ambiance is gorgeous, i loved the patio set up so much! Secondly, all of the staff were beyond friendly and helpful with recommendations. They also were incredibly kind and accommodating when I mentioned my garlic sensitivity and gave me alternate options and genuinely cared about my sensitive stomach! I really appreciated that. And the FOOD. WOW. So i’ve been lusting over the burger for a long time from a far and it was everything i could have ever wanted. One of the most unique burgers i’ve ever had and also one of the best! The tuna tataki was fresh and flavourful, my friend loved the truffle gnuddi. I loved that they brought a free amuse bouche and even gave me one that was garlic free. The drinks were really good, i loved the Apricot Gin Smash. Super light and refreshing. Overall 11/10 would definitely come back and bring my whole family with me!
One of the best restaurants I have been to in Toronto. Great menu with plenty of variety and fun dishes. We tried about ten dishes total and were thoroughly impressed. Highly recommend to anyone to get the ceviche here or get the tasting menu for the full experience.
A must try!! We ended up here just from walking by and we’re incredibly impressed. The food was amazing, our server (Pablo) did an amazing job at describing each dish as it came out and the best way to enjoy it. We will definitely be back!
My husband and I treated our younger daughter for her birthday. She had visited Rasa earlier with friends. The friends are always raving about it to my daughter as they visit often. We sampled many dishes (cauliflower, truffle gnudi, popcorn shrimp, trout and Katsu Sando. All of the tastes were so delicious and it was fun to try so many things. My daughter had Cotes Du Rhone wine and my husband had the Verdejo. I had an non-alcholic beer as I was the DD! As a surprise, Mahipal brought a complementary Chelsea Bun for us to share for dessert. She was very efficient and friendly. My husband and I were on the upper end age-wise for the clientele but it was fun! There seemed to be a lot of regular customers there that night who clearly like coming to Rasa! Reservations are essential.
Found this gem through Google search "popular restaurants in Toronto."Was looking for a new place to eat to celebrate my 3 year anniversary with my partner. The vibe of the restaurant was amazing. Decor was modern rustic. Food was SO GOOD. And, most importantly, the staff were amazing.Though, we originally had reservations for indoor dining, we asked last minute if we could eat and enjoy the patio and they were more than willing to accommodate.Food was all sharable sizes. We ordered 5 plates between the 2 of us and shared everything. All the plates were spaced out to enjoy one at a time.Drinks were DELICIOUS. Only down side to some of the drinks is the side of the glass was rimmed vs the actual rim of the glass. Awkward to hold.Highly recommended. Will be revisiting with a larger group of people in the near future.Wish I remembered our servers name. She was the best. (Rasa; if you see this post and remember our reservation via my name attached please post servers name as new guests need to ask for her for sure!)
We went there to celebrate our anniversary. We couldn’t be happier! The staff was super nice and food was amazing! A little bit different experience with tasting menu from what we had in other restaurants. I super recommend!
Amazing fusion style eats that so heavenly and refreshing, that you’ll somehow feel lighter when you leave! The ceviche is so fresh yet spicy, a great balance of thai flavours. The mushroom dish is another light but filling one. The octopus was perfectly tender. My only tripe with the octopus was the inconsistency between each dish; depending on the table, some dishes were loaded with one or two tentacles, with varying sizes. Seems like a luck of the draw to get a big or small portion. The cocktails are great too, with fun signature ones along with the classic favourites.Overall, a lovely place for ‘fine but fun’ experience. Similar to their sister restaurant SARA, but has more of a underground atmosphere.
An early excursion post lockdown and we’ll worth a celebration. Very busy and tight but nobody seemed concerned. Protocols were followed but no issues whatsoever. Servers fully masked and very helpful. We opted to go because of the reputation, ownership (Food Dudes) and global theme. Great choose all around. We opted for the chef’s selection and regretted nothing. Perfectly seasoned and proportioned for four. Creative presentations and all on hand thrown pottery with thank you inscribed in a myriad of languages. Hip vibe but expected this close to U of T. So nice to see the Toronto dining science return to a new, fun normal.
