Everything served and sold at quesada burritos and tacos is frozen and reheated using essentially microwaves. They charge the same price if not slightly more than chipotle, who’s meats tend to be fresh. The company as a whole makes little to no money from the retail sales of their stores and has taken the McDonald’s model to heart by taking advantage of new immigrants to buy into franchises that ultimately fail.Do not support this business, they routinely fire staff without cause to rehire new cheaper staff. If you have any concerns with this please feel free to reach out and contact Greg Gill (one of two brothers behind the company). This store has also been out of commission for nearly two years and is likely to sell soon rather than reopen ☺️
i think about quesada beyond meat burritos at least once a day and i haven’t been able to have one since probably november/december because this location is still closed under renovations. this is the only quesada close to me, so either i go here or i go completely out of my way to scarborough.so overall i’m super disappointed this location is still closed as it says on the windows outside “opening january 2022,” and “opening february 2022” so i guess they’re pushing back opening as much as possible.i’ll update my review once they finally open as i do love quesada, i’m just cheesed they’re closed still. no other burrito place can fill my cravings.
The burritos are HUGE and so worth the money. Highly recommend the chilli/lime fish burrito. The quesadillas were good too, but they cost about the same and don't fill you nearly as much. +1 for Quesada.
Tasty burrito. I got the beyond meat, it was overcooked so texture was off. I will definitely come back though and try the other vegetarian option instead.
I've lived above this location for 16 years and the quality has gone down drastically. The rice is always hard and crunchy and they got rid of the small burrito bowl.
This place is going down hard. Food is not fresh, service is horrible and doors are closed without any notice. There are so many other better places for Mexican food, don't waste your money or time.
Love this place. My go-to burrito shop in the city. Ingredients taste fresh and flavourful.
I go to this place regularly, and it's usually okay. The last time I got a burrito there, the girl that was making it doublewrapped it because she put a hole in it. I couldn't eat it because everything was falling apart. She made another one, and it still had a hole in it, and had to eat it sitting down with a knife and fork. Someone needs to teach her how to make burritos without holes, and she shouldn't be double wrapping them and then giving them to customers. Also, I wish they sold taco salads in edible bowls like they did originally, but they stopped because they didn't bother getting their machine fixed.
First time at this location food was delicious and fresh, the 2 young ladies working were friendly, will def be coming back
Great place for burritos and tacos so much better than other burrito places in downtown. Definitely worth the money based on the portion size.
