What an absolute secret gem in Toronto. They are super nice and the bo bun hue is excellent. The meat is tender and the tendon is the perfect texture. I ordered spring rolls to go but ate one on the street. The kind of spring roll to make you cry. Crispy and peppery with pork, veg and chewy mushroom. I also love that they don't ask you if you want your bo bun hue "Vietnamese style." Everyone gets the blood cubes and tendon--doesn't matter who you are. I really appreciate that kind of pride and authenticity. They have a little outdoor patio for the winter season--they are very prompt with clean-up and everything is ready for the next customer quickly.
Decent pho in East Chinatown. Try the Ban Cuon as well! There is outdoor dining in the summertime, but surroundings can be a bit dirty...
This place is a gem. Price is very reasonable!! The Menu #1 ($10) Steam Rice rolls with minced pork and slice Vietnamese pork meat sausage is excellent.If you like steamed Pao (Chicken), it's only 4 for $10!! Yum !!
