It is quite crowded on the weekends, yet fortunately the staff there are very helpful in fulfilling the orders. The wait time is long but it's because the chicken is always prepared fresh and unlike some other stores serving already prepared food.
I placed an order yesterday for a centre piece chicken breast. I was told by the cashier that it will take 15 minutes to cook, which is fine. When I went to leave, the cashier told me that they are out of centre piece chicken breast, and gave me 2 rib pieces instead. I paid for it and took it home as I was hungry. My stomach is so upset today after eating the 2 rib pieces because of the grease, which centre cut pieces are not so oily. I called the store today, and told the manager Nazim what happened, and would not listen to me and started arguing with me. I told him that the cashier should have told me when I placed my order, that they are out of centre cut pieces, rather than me waiting for 15 minutes and telling me after the fact. The manager asked me it I would like a refund. I told him don't bother, and I will call Head Office to file a complaint. I also witnessed the cook go to the washroom when I first entered the restaurant. He flushed the toilet and immediately exited the washroom, apparently without washing his hands. What an awful experience!
Walked in and waited 5 minutes for service. No one even acknowledged I came in and staff just looked at me as if to say "what are you even doing here?"Unfortunate because I love Popeyes, but never coming back to this location.
The manager is unprofessional with handling coupons. I get paper and card coupons in the mail but every time the manager claims my coupons are fake. He takes 15 minutes calling someone to confirm if the coupons are real or not. Today I used the official mobile app and he did not know how to enter the 4 digit code after telling me to use the mobile app instead of my "obviously fake printed" coupons. Be warned if you decide to use any types of coupons while the manager is doing sales.
Never even got the chance to eat and none of the problems with my order was addressed, ordered online and came in when it said order is being prepped. The manager then tells me that the order was not accepted because the tablet is not working, and he cant check the order. I show my order on my phone and he continues to say go deal with it with ritual (the online order company). Doesn’t even bother to offer to make the food, and acknowledge that the order was somehow accepted and food should be made with the order that customer had. Stupid service
This used to be a wonderful restaurant that my whole team liked going to. Now noone will go back. Now they cut costs at every corner. Fired their whole staff and serve incredibly bad quality food ( im talking about things mostly fried flour and calling it a tender and fighting about it)The change is so palpable, and i was putting up with it because they were close and easy.But after having a third encounter with the manager where he was not just rude but straight out accusatory when i have gone back to fix an order. I cannot put up with this place anymore. Its genuinely horrible having to deal with him and the way he runs his businessStay away from this place.
Best customer service among many other Popeye location I have visited. Properly cooked chicken and nicely packed. 5 stars from me.
Buyer Beware!!!! Bought a box of 16 pics fry chicken tonight for dinner. The chicken tasted very bitter and so dry without moisture which means they were cooked twice or overnight left over. I asked for fresh chicken from fridge but not the left over on the counter when I paid for the order. After 20 mins waiting and they still dared to serve me those left over. My whole family felt so sick after having these rotten chicken!Definitely will not buy from this location again! Stay away!!!!!!!
One of the worst experiences in a Popeyes. Today tuesday December 28 2021 at 5pm, I went to get a chicken sandwich combo. I got served by a young girl with Indian accent, since the beginning she was super rude, she took my order meanwhile she was talking on a phone call on her personal cellphone, of course after that she start to prepare the order, with her phone in one hand and handling food without gloves on her other hand. I got worried after I saw she was handling money, so I ask her to wear globes, she pretended like she didn't listen so I ask a second time... when I asked the second time she went to the sanitation station (beside me) and pushed a hand sanitizer with no liquid there and pretend to clean her hands so I asked a third time to wear globes... she just ignored me and start to pack my order with her dirty hands. After that, she gave me my bag so I asked her name many times and she of course refused all times to give it to me... when I asked to speak with the manager she told me that she was the manager ( I don't think she is the reak manager given her poor customer service and her less than basic food handlers process), even when she suposed to be the manager she still refused to give a name and she add... "in Popeyes we don't use globes"... I think in the middle of a PANDEMIC is VITAL to wear the globes specially if you are a cashier and you handle money and food, that's the minimum that a restaurant can do, since we are paying for our food but also a good service and honestly I have none, the service was poor, the cashier rude, my coke has no gas or sparkling at all and fries were cold... chicken sandwich was ok but with all the bad moment and problems that I had, I couldn't enjoy.
They hired new young employees. Extremely rude , slow , asked how long will my order take ( waited out for 15 minutes already) , he told me stay down when it is ready he will call. Waited out for 30 minutes more . If you are ready to wait for 45 mins for cold chicken , go ahead. I used to go there a lot with previous employees orders didn't take longer than 5 minutes! Fast food franchise turned into Slow food nightmare.
