We had a great experience at this restaurant; friendly staff, beautiful decoration, great taste of traditional persian food and reasonable price.Will return for sure :)
The food and the environment were great. We had dinner with two friends there and it was a fun experience. The only issue is that they have a time limit for each table and the waiters are so pushy for you to order and then finish with your food. They literally take the llates away the moment you're done. Other than that, great place to experience authentic Persian cuisine.
This was actually my first time trying persian food, so this feedback is solely based on this restaurant with no reference to another one.Most of the dishes have a combination of meat and dried fruits/ nuts.Fesenjaan was so good! The sauce was thick and tasty.Aloo Ghesyi was a completely new flavour to for me (chicken+ apricot) and I really liked it.At the end we ordered Safran ice-cream. The presentation was just on point!And the restaurant layout eas amazing, we couldn't take our eyes off the carpets and pictures on the wall!Will go back again for sure.
Not a good experience ... I had high hope before I had my dinner at this Persian restaurant. The dishes display are totally different than what you can find from the internet images, size are fairly small, all main dishes are presented in the same way with rice and salad on the side. Price not cheap, but the quality and portion they are offering shouldn't be that high price compare to others. Taste was so so, not exceptional, not as bad, but definitely not worth to pay $20/dish. I was disappointed. Atmosphere was OK.
Pomegranate restaurant is THE BEST Persian restaurant I have been to! They have stews from different regions of Iran that even I, who is Persian, haven’t heard about! Very delicious! The atmosphere is so colourful and vibrant. It reminds me of Iran :DThey offer takeout, Uber Eats and Door dash which is super convenient.
Every thing on the menu is great. If you have not had Persian food and you are good with strong flavours you must go. Call the reserve or order for takeaway.
This is one of the best restaurants in Toronto. Every dish is beautiful and delicious. The lamb is literally melt in your mouth amazing. The restaurant itself is very cozy and beautifully decorated. Service is very friendly, although it could be a bit slow sometimes. I always look forward to my next visit here.
This was my second experience at Pomegranate, I liked it first time but this time was a bit different.I ordered Fessenjoon as always, it’s “malas” towards sweet, and delicious ?,Kashke Bademjoon was not good nor tasty!!Zeytoon Parvardeh was fresh and mouth melting.The best part was their “Akbar Mashdi traditional ice cream”.Interior is small but cozy and is decorated beautifully and traditionally Persian ?
Love this Persian cuisine. The restaurant decorate very nicely. It has a very good combination of cuisines. Daily specials are always good. I like everything about it.
