We found this place online whilst staying close by in Toronto. I’m so glad we came here! Staff were so very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious.
We ordered the beef barbacoa and shrimp tacos in a hard shell which was really good. Probably one of the better hard shell that I've had. Beef and shrimp were very flavorfulThe other was Al Pastor tacos were decent but way too oily, it was a mess to eat but pork was flavourfulOverall 4/5
The food is so good, Fun place small and intimate great vibe. I will be going back. you have to try the corn ? fish tacos. A gem of a place glad I finally went. I will suggest make a reservation.
Absolutely delicious tacos. We had the battered pescador which was fantastic. Having said this, the crispy shells were very tasty having tried the chicken tinga, chorizo rojo and barbacoa. When ordering, be sure to ask for their salsa Verde which is served warm and is super tasty.
Wow, this place is really a find. Really excellent Mexican food, fast friendly service, a nice patio. I was driving after lunch or I would have tried the margaritas, which I'm guessing are great. I've been a lot of terrific places in Toronto, but this is one of my all time favourites.
Turns out I drive by this place on route to work every day and never noticed them. While the seating is very cramped, and the temperature inside is uncomfortably hot, the food is really really good. This was my first time eating here, ordered the barbacoa, it was delicious! Very nice presentation. I feel like the prices are on the high side for what was served, but as a once in a while meal it's acceptable. $200 for 4 people for dinner + tip. Service was a reasonable pace, except at the end I feel like we waited for the bill+cc machine for a really long time. Might just be because it was sauna hot in there and I needed some air so my patience was limited. I think next time I'd prefer to order their food and have it delivered.
I ordered their fish tacos grilled (can also order fried) and they are definitely the best fish tacos available in the city.. fresh ingredients, seasoned beautifully and the fish was cooked to perfection. I called to make an adjustment to my order and the lady on the phone did say they don’t normally make adjustments but she will do her best and they accommodated my request which I appreciated. The delivery did take a little while but I honestly think they make everything FRESH to order so I don’t mind waiting as long as the results are as good as they always are
Food was good however service not so they are short on staff. Their shrimp tacos were bomb also loved the guacamole and chips. I recommend you order to go instead of dining in.
Although the food tastes pretty decently, we noticed that some of the ingredients were not fresh. The waiter also was extremely confusing in a sense that he brought our food to another table and their food to our table. It took a long time for them to understand that we never got our guacamole and chips as that went to the other table by accident (they didn’t even touch it afterwards). My stomach also didn’t feel very well after eating here, so overall not a repeat again. I wouldn’t suggest this place either.
The best tacos I've had since being in Mexico. Truly amazing tacos, all the flavours combine so well. The salsa and guacamole were amazing as well. I couldn't find anything wrong with this place if I wanted too
