The egg yolk ravioli is probably the most memorable dish I've had.Creamy, cheesy, tons of umami..without being sickening. Pizza was excellent as was the steak.Dessert was great but the carrot cake is really for one, if you're greedy like me
We had a lovely experience at Piano Piano. This was our second time there and we enjoyed everything about it. From the food to the service and the ambience. Special Shout out to Paige, our server. She was very warm, energetic and fantastic in her recommendations. We literally picked from her reccos and things were spot on.My only constructive feedback would be that I noticed that during our dining experience there were 5 people who handled our table (Host, Order taker, person from pass to deliver the order, clearance person and one person to replenish our cutlery between courses). I feel that kind of is too much. Ensuring a lesser number of faces on the table just ensures that there is a more consistent experience.
We had the family style menu for a birthday. The service is quite slow but the portions are massive. They split our table into two so it was a bit awkward for conversation because they were parallel and far apart. The pastas were cooked perfectly and the started charcuterie board was the highlight.
This might just be my favourite restaurant in Toronto! It feels like a great place to celebrate a special occasion, but despite its elevated appearance, this is the most delicious, comforting Italian fare. The whipped ricotta is amazing, the calamari was great, and the egg yolk ravioli is my heaven (it is perfection). I’ll keep coming back so long as it’s on the menu!Be warned that the bundino is so rich we made it through about 3 bites before having to leave it.
Great restaurant!!The pastas were amazing. Absolutely loved their mushroom cavatelli! The cocktails were good.Brussels sprouts were a bit burnt and salty however. The staffs were friendly.Great interior, gives a great brunch restaurant vibe hahaWould love to dine again!
The dine in setting and the service is wonderful. It’s beautifully decorated. Our servers were super friendly and helpful. They treated us to Prosecco for our anniversary. The piano piano spritz cocktail was so good, we ordered three. For dinner we ordered the egg yolk ravioli, bone-in veal Parmesan, potato supremo as a side, and whipped ricotta from the snack menu. My partner loved the veal and potato supremo, which is like a fancy spicy dish of home fries. The whipped ricotta had a bit spice from the red pepper dressing but I found the combo too sweet and dessert-like for my taste. The butter sauce on the ravioli was very good but it wasn’t the most filling, satisfying main. It comes with two large pieces of ravioli and focaccia on the side so it was a little bread-heavy. I wish it had come with a vegetable side. Overall it was a good experience and I would go back to try their pizza.
Definitely one of the restaurants you should visit in Toronto at least once.Veal parmesan is really delicious, love the pepperoni, it’s hot and sweet which is a nice combination. The warm olives were really tasty but the best part was the cheesecake, So good but be careful if you don’t like the sour taste.I was looking for a better customer service though not that anything bad happened, but I didn’t receive the friendly vibe that I was expecting. Anyway I’ll give them 5 stars, hopefully they can improve it.
Very quaint restaurant. Great size portions for each meal. Friendly staff and very quiet and low key.Carrot cake with ice cream (serves 2, a bit sweet)Spicy pastaRoasted seabass(perfect)Eggplant frittiPeople's champ pizza(dough is perfect)TiramisuEverything was soo good, great job!
Our first time here. We ordered the Caesar salad we both agreed it was excellent. Incredibly flavourful... I ordered the Roasted Sea Bass...it was perfect...My husband ordered the bone in veal parm...if you're expecting the typical veal parm don't order this...but if you want a surprise of flavour combinations at a level above what most restaurants would call veal parm....you will love it... Caveat not low calorie by any stretch of the imagination...
Very good pasta - I got their special that was a homemade Mac & cheese type of dish. We also got a burrata appetizer & Brussel sprouts and everything was delicious!
