I would strongly suggest this place for anyone who loves chicken !I found this randomly cause im working 2 minutes away.I haven't yet dined in, So for take out i would say go for it don't even think about it !Boneless chicken all the way !Gravy is amazing ( for me )Rice pasta and some salad to accommodate it.People working in are humble and nice smiling people which gives a "familiar" experience of a local little restaurant!Julius ( if i am getting the name correct) amazing chef!Keep it up!! Good job guys !
Picked up burgers and fries. They were perfect as usual. Brought them to a nearby park with my little kids. Everyone was very happy
AMAZING FOOD BUT EVEN BETTER SERVICE ?You'll be taken care of far beyond food. You'll taste every ounce of love and care that goes into the food1000% recommend
The store is down the street from work. They have a great selection of snacks, drinks and Asian food fare. I buy the Chicken and Fries combo meal (the Fried Chicken is BOMB ?)! Great place to chill in the Summer months outside. Love visiting the guys when I need a great lunch! 10/10
Food was pretty good but portions are small and site is not transparent. Picture of two buns in the order is actually ONE bun. Cole slaw is tiny..c'mon it's cabbage. More transparency would be nice.
From the outside you might think - is that a convenience store? Is it a hot food market? Yes, it's both.Their is a selection of warm food items, fried chicken, beef patties, yum burgers, sweet hand pies, and then there are specials during weekends that are Pacific islands inspired, sometimes fusion, and always delicious. The convenience store side of the business has snack foods, sauces, and unique offerings that take me back to my childhood exploring different Toronto ethnic communities as well as hard to come by snacks like hip hop theme potato chips. It is a hard to explain, must be experienced bodega. The staff are friendly and cool, the atmosphere is urban and cultural, the offerings bare unique, nostalgic, and we'll curated.I often find street parking on Wallace and it's not too far a walk from Lansdowne Subway. Please support this small business. The guys running the shop work hard and deserve the tips.I give Pepper's 5 ?️?️?️?️?️ out of 5 for doing it right. You can also buy booze to go here as well.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I was recommended Pepper's by a friend and it has now become a favorite weekly destination by my family. We don't live very close, but we enjoy our visits so much we make an effort to pass by when we're in the neighborhod.
-Burger patty tasted like a frozen president’s choice burger.-Chicken tasted like it was cooked and sat under a heat lamp for the entire day and then was flashed again right before serving—I didn’t think it was possible to dry out chicken thighs like that.-Side spaghetti missing.-And the crispy bun tasted like it was bought from the frozen aisle at P.A.T., which isn’t a bad thing, I’d just rather not pay $5 for it.-Curly fries, decent.
fun store with delicious snacks and comfort food. A one stop shop in the neighbourhood! :)
Great little spot that was supposed to have been a full restaurant when they opened during the pandemic, and pivoted into an amazing Asian grocery store/snack bar/import store/craft brew seller. Fantastic addition to the neighborhood (and I picked up some fun/rare snacks)!
I've been here only twice but I already love this spot. So glad to have you guys in the neighborhood. The patties, hot dogs and fried chicken are dangerously good for stop in snacks or whole meals even when you're not completely hungry.
