The curried shrimp is amazing, and the fried chicken is to die for , the korean coliflower was soooo sooo good, and the french toast is the best i've ever had... worth the drive from ottawa!! It's life changing. Our staff today were 2 cool looking guys who had so much charisma and charm we had oh so many laughs with them and made the experience that much better..Overall this is going to he our must go to spot everyime we're going to he back in Toronto.

This place is a whole vibe, from the warm friendly staff, to the rum-filled cocktails and tasty dishes. Chef Craig blends two cultures he grew up with (like myself) and I love how he combines traditional dishes from each to create mouth-watering food you will want to keep coming back for more. I suggest going with 2-3 others and enjoy the Whole Shebang! It’s so worth it, getting to try almost the entire menu. Don’t forget to buy some awesome merch before you leave! With the fun tunes they play, you may not want to leave actually :)

Good experience at Patois on a Friday night. We ordered the feast for 4 and ordered extra fried chicken and the pork belly yakisoba for our table of 6. Portions for the yakisoba was quite small. The pineapple bun burger was really disappointing, the bun wasn't toasted at all and the meat patties fell apart. Table agreed that the Brussel sprout salad was fantastic! Nice experience but wouldn't come again, nothing special

Caribbean-Asian fusion sounded super intriguing to me, and Patois does a good job at finding ways to make Cantonese-Chinese and Jamaican food come together. I really liked the lively, dimly-lit ambiance of the restaurant, though the music was a bit loud! Me and my friend got the Feast for 1-2, which allows you to sample a bit of everything they offer, a great option if it’s your first time there and can’t decide what to get. The highlights of my meal were the Chinese Pineapple Bun Burger and the super juicy and tender jerk chicken. The portions were super filling and we were both stuffed by the end of our meal, though things felt on the pricier side compared to a more typical individual Jamaican or Chinese restaurant. I’m eager to come back sometime and try their jerk chicken chow mein!

Amazing food and service. Creative mix of Jamaican and Chinese flavours that brings back childhood memories with a twist of something new. They also have delicious drinks and friendly bartenders.

Been looking forward to trying this place ever since I saw them featured on the Eater YouTube channel. Got the popcorn shrimp fried rice and the jerk chicken. The fried rice was bomb, nice and greasy like a traditional Chinese fried rice. The jerk chicken had great flavor and spice on the skin but I wished more of that flavor penetrated into the meat. Also could have been more spicier for my taste but still a great meal overall.

Absolutely incredible. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in a while, I got the half chicken & the brussel sprout salad and i highly recommend both. I got the cookie butter french toast for dessert and it wasn’t my favourite but it was still good. The atmosphere is great too, love the decor. They definitely put a lot of love into the food, everything is seasoned so perfectly and the chicken is so tender. Definitely will be back.

Great food and amazing service! We were excited to revisit this place to celebrate our 2 year anniversary and it turned out to be a great evening. We got some cocktails to start which were great although a bit on the expensive side, next up we ordered the yakisoba which was awesome and then the chowmein which was a bit underwhelming compared to the yakisoba but still very good. To finish it off, we got the cookie butter french toast which has to be one of the best desserts we've had this year!We will be coming back for sure :)

The food here is so-so but the vibe is bangin’. We ordered the feast for 1-2 and the best thing about that meal is the kale salad - loved it.. the idea of a pineapple bun burger sounds fun but I’m not a fan… it was mad soggy and fell apart in my hands. I’m a huge beef patty lover but was not very impressed with what they served us.. tasted like the patties you would get at the hospital cafeteria. The jerk chicken had WAY too much liquid smoke or something and the fried chicken lacked seasoning. Tbh, prob won’t be coming back here unless I’m craving their kale salad or want to grab a quick drink.

Excellent evening in Patois ! Seating at the bar was great - the music was great - and the staff all very friendly. Limited menu but for sure something for everyone - you can’t go wrong with any dish !! Jerk lobster, Jerk pork belly and the spicy coli - wow! Fun cocktails and home brew !! Defiantly worth a visit !!
