Great experience overall and nice interior.I can say good portion with a reasonable price and tasteful.Unfortunately I’ll give them 4 stars because the breads were too cold and I ask for an orange juice and they told me they are out of it but I saw people keep receiving orange juices after so that was strange. And at the beginning we asked them to give us a specific table and We’ve been told that they gave it to another person which they came after us and they were in line behind us which I think it wasn’t good again as it was our turn. So definitely they can work on the customer experience part as there is a good potential.

I already loved the place for their bakery side. Their brunch is fantastic. I am still craving for the menemen! The missing star is only because the 1h slot you have when you are 2 (1h30 when you are more, if i am not mistaken) is quite short, considering you might want to enjoy slowly every bite you take. So if you want to go and not be rushed i would recommend to visit during week days!

We had tried on the weekend for brunch twice before but couldn’t get a table. Today we went and were seated immediately. The food was fantastic and well priced, Turkish coffee was wonderful. Our server was lovely. Will definitely be back ?

Amazing and picturesque brunch restaurant. Food, ambience and staff were all wonderful. Only thing to consider is that it’s “first come first serve”, so you could be dealing with long wait times. We were told two hours today, but thankfully found a table and seats in the cafe side so we could wait it out indoors and it only ended up being a one hour wait. Would def come back!

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. I am a fan of pancakes and definitely their pancakes look very tasty on pictures. On my first try I wasn’t successful because the waiting time was around 1 hour and a half, we were too hungry to wait. On the second try I was lucky enough to secure a table in 10min. And was totally what I expected. The pancakes didn’t disappoint. They were Super fluffy, delicious and definitely the right amount of sweetness. Their coffee is bottomless and great quality. It’s kind of in the pricey side but definitely worth every cent paid. Will gladly recommend!

Lovely ambience it has amazing openness and an airy feel with lots of greenery. The menu is very refined. Specializing in a few items that are delicious and beautifully pleasing to the eye. Ordered the pancakes and some Turkish coffee. Very filling. Got some cookies from the bakery to go. They were blah. Though this is Turkish, it feels very westernized.

This restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious! The service could use a bit of improvement (I waited 20 min for my coffee...pretty sure they forgot about it because I got it right after I asked our server to check on it for me) but the mimosas, tasty food, and ambiance made up for it. If brunch is your thing, this place is a must - but be prepared for a long wait to be seated since they don't take reservations.

Visited Pasaj with a few friends one Saturday morning. You’re unable to make reservations in advance so we put our name down on the list and waited for about ~30 mins. There is a small area to sit down and wait along with a give and go type setup so you’re able to grab a coffee, a bakery item as you wait (or to grab and go). Food was really good, ordered the Grandmas pancakes (which was aesthetically pleasing) along with a Mucver (Zucchini Fritters) - was filling. Turkish coffee was good, different (recommend getting it sweetened if you don’t normally drink Turkish coffee). Our waitress was really nice, checked up on frequently. Atmosphere was very welcoming. Price is $$. Highly recommend checking this place out.

The owner and staff were extremely kind, and although there was a wait, we immediately understood why, as the food was spectacular. The break-feast was a favourite and the Istanbul Fog was ????. You can also grab coffee and pastries while you wait to be seated! The atmosphere was also quite eclectic and had character with green and gold accents and marble style tables.

I act like I was secretly chosen to fulfill the mission possible: find the best pancakes in the GTA. Whether or not that’s true, I’m happy to report I’ve found them. I’ve been an regular customer at Simit & Chai and was excited to see this is what they had next up their sleeves. The place is beautiful and bustling with patrons ordering coffee and pastries to go and lining up to put their name on the waitlist like it was the first day of Ontarios reopening. We ordered some pastries, maybe pogacas, to go while we waited for a table to be ready and they were an excellent preview of what was to come.We were seated at a small table near the door, seemingly the short order side in a less busy time. Our table was the only thing helping us portion control everything we ate since we couldn’t fit another small plate of sweets in it even if we tried.Listed on the menu as “grandmas pancakes” I don’t know who’s grandma this is but it made me forget about aunt J’s pancake mix. These were thee tastiest most fluffy stack I have ever had, which is great because it was a 45 minute wait on a cold wet Sunday. If you’re okay with everyone whipping out their phone to take photos of the gorgeous interior, you can’t miss this east side gem.
