Train up the wait staff. Especially for transfer of tables between shift. Communication was missing.
The service was above and beyond for our bachelorette party! Thank you!
Great ambiance and wine! Food was underwhelming for the price.
Great food. Fun place. Great energy and service.
Lovely bright and airy venue, with excellent food and extensive wine list. We had the mixed charcuterie & cheese board (good but nothing to write home about and you need to order bread separately), then the the lobster pasta with abalone cream (wow), the grilled NY steak and the grilled maitake mushroom--all were delicious. The chocolate basque cheesecake was just OK and the berry pavlova a bit overdone (crisp all the way thru but still delicious). Service was very attentive including an excellent wine recommendation from extensive options--but it all felt rather rushed to the point that empty plates were whisked away before you could enjoy the leftover sauce. My only substantive complaint is that we'd made a reservation for our anniversary, got there on time and yet upon arriving in a largely empty restaurant, were stuck in the back at a shared table with a view of the kitchen and sun in our eyes. I probably wouldn't have minded had we been walk ins, but when I reserve for a special occasion I expect a bit more.
Great service cool vibes and exquisite food Looking forward to the outdoor dining area Acoustics inside quite loud
We werenât impressed with our experience. Despite what appeared to be lots of service staff around, no one checked in on us once our food arrived. We ordered the charcuterie but no one explained what was served and we werenât convinced any of it was prepared in house. To us, there was nothing unique about the food, very pedestrian. Lastly- they didnât serve coffee which was very disappointing.
Delish! And Maria is a fantastic server. Highly recommend that you eat everything possible.
Paris Paris is in a great location in the Ossington strip, and the decor and energy of the space is nice with lots of seating outside, too. The servers are pleasant and attentive as they can be in this busy space, and the wine list is decent while they provide some lovely, balanced cocktails. The food is seemingly well suited to accompany their specialty in wine, however the execution is quite mediocre. Nothing is bad or poorly done, but there are no standouts or wow factors. Our party of 5 intended to eat dinner there, but after being underwhelmed with starters (steak tartare, tuna tataki, shrimp cocktail, bread & butter, and burrata) we felt weâd call it after a final cocktail as we werenât compelled to continue. It wasnât a total loss, but we were hopeful from what weâd seen and heard about this spot it would be good. Would recommend if someone wanted to just have drinks (and maybe one snack?) but wouldnât say food is the focus or a highlight. Itâs a little more scenester, and less substance. But again, this review is not a reflection on the space or the staff - both were lovely. But everything else was essentially medium/vanilla at best.
The hostess that greeted us was lacking in personality and attitude. She should smile more. Our waitress was great very accommodating Food was outstanding.
