The food has always tasted great and today was no exception. The warm puffed pita is a great starter for the table, although we had to wait a really long time to get it. The falafel salad and mixed grill was delicious and fresh. Our only complaint is the cleanliness of the restaurant and the service. My seat had parsley on it and remnants of hummus, and there was lots of debris under our table. Clearly somebody didn’t take the time to prepare the table for the next customer. Also, even though the restaurant was only about a quarter full, our waitress basically took our order and then delivered the food, she never came by to refill waters or ask how things were tasting. We also had to ask for an extra plate as there were 4 of us and only 3 arrived. If you stepped up the service then the experience and tip would have been that much better!
I have always have a soft corner for this restaurant! Excellent service and delicious kabobs!I was disappointed they didn’t have lamb when we were there for our anniversary that’s the only reason I always go :( so four star for that!Otherwise I do recommend this restaurant, if you are lamb lover like me please call ahead to check!
The staff customer service is outstanding but food from authenticity point of view, can be debated but I come from the mother land of that so called authentic food and I’m not sure if I should agree with everyone that enjoyed and rated the place but cannot say the food only is the ideal freshness but good thing they repriced smart finance there but can’t fool me here or anyone of my people from the original motherland not the ones born here or from the surrounding countries even they know better. But 5+ stars to the staff servers Mohammad and his colleagues best people communication satisfaction. Thanks
Fantastic food! Been coming to paramount for years… very comforting food.. fresh and delicious. Mohammed, Manar and the team are wonderful, so warm and welcoming. Thank you for everything
I recently visited Paramount Fine Foods (1585 The Queensway location).Being Lebanese & vegan, I was expecting to have the same vegan Lebanese foods I usually enjoy at Paramount (Falafel, hummus, moutabbal, tabbouleh etc...) . To my surprise, I saw on their menu an option for meatless shawarma. Not knowing what to expect, I decided to give it a try. As soon a I took the first bite, I knew that they have mastered the recipe. The texture and taste was amazing, especially with their vegan garlic spread. Even though I have not have a shawarma for over 30 years, this was the closest plant based shawarma option I have ever tried. I can't wait till I have it once again.
The service here is severely lacking. The servers forgot to give us water and utensils. We also had to practically beg for the bill despite the fact that half the restaurant was empty and we had came for lunch on a weekday. Overall the staff looked like they cared more about chatting with each other than caring about their customers. I'm happy I came here with my family because I wouldn't ever want to come to this location with a client or a colleague from work. The food is good but it is also pricey, and when you combine that with the fact that the service is well below average, I wouldn't recommend you come here. Their portion sizes are also quite small, I would expect to spend approximately $15-$25 here per person.I would suggest you go to other Paramount locations as I have had much better experiences with their service. Otherwise there are much better Middle Eastern restaurants that you can find in Toronto that provide better service at a better price.
Had a great experience at their Don Mills location. Dining in process was really smooth and may be due to COVID restrictions it wasn’t too busy. We started with paramount juice with falafel which were really fresh, loved it. Then as main we had mixed kebab with bread, rice and salad. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The person who served us was very polite. Plus all their foods are Halal and as a bonus they have prayer room as well. Highly recommend this place to give your taste buds a different taste. Peace!
Surj was helpful and accommodating. Good seating and delicious Fries and Hammus
Celebrated my mothers birthday, amazing food & nice services. The ambience of the place is amazing! Would definitely suggest this place for middle eastern food.
The food was fine. I almost did not make the order. The soft drink price is rediculous. $3.44 for 355 ml can. 3 cans is almost $11.00. Real! Everyone know what a can of coke cost in large quantity.
