Arrived at 10pm and informed we just leave by 11 at close. Been here multiple times and it's a great place for homestyle Korean fare. Perhaps I visited too late but dishes did not taste as good as I remembered. They didn't refill the side dishes and advised kitchen was closed (10:30pm at that point). Service was not friendly. Will revisit with lower expectations.
I was introduced to this place by a family member; we both got the pork bone soup. Since my first time, I've ordered from Paldo Gangsan about 7 times; the food is super delicious!
*CASH ONLY*Good portion with reasonable price.Sweet and spicy rice cake - rice cake is really soft and chewy, the sauce the a little sweet with me, but overall it’s nice to have.Fried dumplings is fresh, hot & crispy although it’s a bit oily.Fish cake side dish is awesome, I have to order more. 1 extra portion costs only $3.It’s suitable for small group of friends or family gatherings.
Their soup portion for two is big so sharing the price becomes quite a bargain. I'm not impressed with the quality as our kimchi soup taste and ingredients are just like homemade food which can be easily found in almost any authentic korean restaurant. But it is still worth the money. *cash only*
One of my favourite Korean restaurant, traditional Korean dishes, especially the pork born soup
I ordered jaeyook kimchi dupbap and I really like it. But everytime I order this food meat getting smaller and amount of meat is also…This restaurant should change food name to Kimchi dupbap with small portion of meat.
*Only available to pay in cash*the food was overall pretty good! I recommend their soon tofu soup and the pancake. However, the restaurant is not very clean, you can see through the kitchen and it looked sketchy.
The rice cakes with noodles were delicious and tasted better than similar options at nearby restaurants! The spicy squid on a hot plate was also tasty, however the sweet and sour chicken was a big letdown. I would not recommend ordering it if you get a chance to visit this spot in Koreatown.
Tried this restaurant for the first time this past week. Was not disappointed! The portions were great, everything tasted so delicious and fresh. Prices were also reasonable! I think I’ve found my new Korean take-out place. Highly recommended!
The best Korean food in town! The pork bone soup is to die for and basically everything else on the menu! The level of service here is also great, owners are super friendly and welcoming.100% yummy ?
