We stopped by Outrigger on a whim, after a ling afternoon walk through the Beaches neighbourhood. What a lovely surprise!We had a gin-horseradish Caesar before we ate, which was a delicious surprise. In fact, it was one of the best Caesars we've had anywhere.For dinner, I had the fried chicken and cornbread, and my partner had one of thr burgers. Both were delicious.This place is a definite recommend!
Have you ever had one of those mornings when you want something yummy and you’re in need of a seriously well-crafted Caesar? I highly recommend you take a seat at the bar and watch the mixologist at work. One of the best Caesars I’ve ever had! Then my friend and I decided to have coconut shrimp and the open faced lobster grilled cheese. My mouth was in heaven. No word of a lie. It was my first lobster grilled cheese ever! I can’t stop thinking about it was so good. You’ve got to try this!
It is a little pricey, but it's definitely worth the visit for the food. The classic burger I ordered was kinda OK, but the beer battered fish and chips, and all the other stuff tasted very good. Overall, good food, and the ambience was nice too.
First review I have ever written in my 46 years but last night me and my wife came out for dinner. Sophie & Graeme made our night at the outrigger . As for the movie we saw after called licorice pizza big thumbs down. Moral of this review is enjoy your outrigger experience and don't watch licorice pizza
Tried this place for the first time the other night and was super impressed with the food! I had the mushroom and Swiss burger (add bacon) with fries and a Caesar salad. It was an EXCELLENT burger, fries were piping hot and salad came out first which was nice as I was expecting it in the side but it was more of an appetizer.We also ordered a pitcher of lime margarita and it was perfect... so yummy, not super strong, fresh squeezed lime.Would definitely go back again!!!
Terrific spot! Pretty solid food. Great beers on tap and the staff is lovely. Makes you feel like a real local bar. Lots of room and they keep the kitchen open until 10 which is nice for this neighbourhood. Definitely will be back and would recommend.
Two managers made the decision to charge 5$ for a substitute of mashed potatoes on a 27$ meal. I could have bought a whole bag of potatoes for that. These were not special mashed potatoes. Just plain ol mash with salt and pepper. This is a side on multiple other meals they offer. Even on another salmon meal they offer on the menu. They did not ask us to charge the extra amount and took it upon themselves to do so. Absolute nonsense and clearly not thinking straight. There’s no reason why this one meal on the menu cannot have this side. There is no cost effectiveness here, which was their reasoning behind this nonsense. I wanted to cancel my order when I phoned originally, I wish I had said something right then. The meal arrived and there were no snow peas on it, as described on their menu on Uber eats. Zero explanation for this other than it says market fresh somewhere else their employee was reading. The one manager miraculously disappeared and was no longer available to explain why they can overcharge without permission for a sub but can’t even be bothered to deliver the meal as stated on their menu! Next time I will order from Breakwall. We will not be ordering from here ever again! Too bad we are locals as well. Oh well. Terrible customer service and decisions. Looks like they have gone back to their old bad habits like when they first opened.
I tried the Panko Crusted Chicken Mozzarella. It was DELICIOUS! ?The chicken has a golden brown coating that is light and crunchy on the outside, but juicy and tender on the inside. Every bite has your mouth craving for the next!The mozzarella cheese is nice and goooooey (which I LOVE!), and it makes you feel warm and cozy inside.Very generously portioned and beautifully prepared.Mine came with a side of french fries that were golden brown. They were hot and crispy too!Kudos to the kitchen staff...LOVE IT!Definitely one of my new favs! ❤?Can't wait to try some of the other dishes at Outrigger. Stay tuned! ☺️
Fish & chips, fish tacos and butter chicken nan all great !! Tasty & fresh !! Patio seating is nice and service very good !! Well priced and a very pleasant experience!
Went here a month ago with our small dog. Was told that dogs aren’t allowed inside the patio, and we were given a table close to the sidewalk and repeatedly told to keep our dog on the designated (out)side of the fence. We did our best to have him stay put, and he was definitely not in anyone’s way.The server ignored us, and people who arrived after us were served. We waited more than 20 mins until we finally left. We just moved to the area and this was not the welcome we expected.Obviously didn’t eat here so no comment on that.
