One of the worst poke bowls and worst ono poke location.1: paid for an extra 5$ for seaweed salad on two bowls and they forgot it2: rice is disgustingly overcooked that I spit it out. You can tell by the picture it’s literal mush.I hope the owner/franchisee starts doing some quality control at this location
If I could I would give this place no stars. The raw salmon and tuna were not fresh and smelled and tasted very funky. I have had many many poke bowls and none have tasted this nasty, bordering on… expired. They really should be more careful when handling raw fish. Also, the arrangement was not neat. Just… bad. Never getting food from here again.
We discovered this restaurant unexpectedly as we were walking pass it. A nice smell was was coming out and we were slightly hungry at that time. We didn’t know about this restaurant or had seen this restaurant before walking in it. The interior is clean and small, looked like they mainly do takeouts. The staffs were friendly and nice. We ordered a chicken katsu bowl and a chicken katsu sandwich in a baguette. The nice smell had increased our expectation, so when the food came, it was a bit of a disappointment. The chicken katsu was a bit burnt and overcooked, so it became dry. The food pricing here looks decent enough. Overall this place is only recommended if you’re on the go, want a quick grab and not in a mood to care about high quality taste.
Best poke rice I’ve ever had, but also worst salmon quality I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the salmon was indeed chewy and had its whole colour and texture was off. The rice, however, was probably the best I’ve had in a poke bowl: perfectly cooked and not cold nor clumpy. The service is GREAT; location is super convenient however I wish the fish was of good quality.
The worst poke I have ever had. Way too much rice and not enough fish. An avocado was pale green and hard, the fish was in tiny pieces and in a very small quantity. I’ll never eat here again. Taro chips were also extremely over salted.
The best poke spot in town. The bowl here is amazing and they do great stuff for the community. I'd rather be supporting Ono than any other shops!Btw the sauces are always spot on!
Didn’t pay for there employee
Poke is my favourite kind of cuisine so I was so excited when I found this place!!! Went in the middle of a snow storm because I was lost and happened to stumble upon this place. I am a certified vegan so I was worried when I first looked at the menu, but the server Leigha helped me a lot. What a star, such an angle. Totally recommend this place. Great happenstance :)
I strongly recommend this poké bar!! My favourite is the classic salmon with the wasabi mayo. The service is wonderful as well. Last time I was there, the server named Lea took my order, and wonderfully suggested some good bowls for me to try. 10/10 I love ONO Poké!!
My first time at this restaurant I was so confused. What a menu! I totally didn't know what to order... but this lovely worker named Leah helped me out so much. The restaurant was super clean so I trusted the food. I have some extreme dietary restrictions, vegan, gluten free... eating out is totally a YIKES! But Leah helped me figure out what I could eat. And let me tell you, the bowl was AMAZING!!! So good. The flavours were great and the sweet tofu was out of this world. Holy moly. The kids are super picky eaters but I'm sure I can find something for them to eat here. My youngest Timmy is especially picky, but maybe I will tell him we're going to mcdonalds LOL. Can't wait to go back to ono poke bar! ;-)
